He looked at Jack, debating whether or not he should tell his story. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows either. Finally, he shrugged. "Born, immigrated, abandoned, ran away, came here."

"Nobody has to." He stated. "I could figure them out on my own."

She listened to the younger newsboy. She sorta felt sorry for him, she knew how being abandoned effected people. Scout looked at Jack. "I could." She offered.

Rivers looked at Scout. He was surprised, to say the least. Nobody had really ever offered to show him how to do anything.

((New night))
Blink sat on the front steps, a cigarette held between his lips. He wasn't sure exactly why he was up, especially since he'd been so tired lately, but here he was. He hummed something under his breath, before smirking, blowing some smoke into the air.

Moira had been on her way home from doing some various jobs and then stopping at a pub for dinner. She hadn't realized how late it had gotten til she left. Walking past the lodinghouse she stopped, smiling softly. "...I always seem to find you when it's late at night..."

Blink smiled back at her, pulling the cigarette from his lips. "I'm soah there's a message in there. Probably something about us both needing to learn how to sleep." His tone was light, teasing as he patted the seat next to him.

Moira laughed. "...I sleep just fine, mister..." She blushed softly before sitting down next to him, putting her hands in her lap, wringing them a bit. She hadn't seen Blink since the party.

"Then how is it that whenever I can't, I always seem to run into you?" Blink asked with a grin, before it faded a bit. "How have you been, Moira?" He took another drag of his cigarette and put it out. "I've missed you."

Moira shrugged and then blushed. "...I've been okay. Been busy working..made some new friends in Bronx..." She wrung her hands. "Missed you too..." She was nervous again, she couldn't help it. This was her first relationship and she didn't know if this was normal.

Blink chuckled a bit, reaching out with one hand, fingers wrapping around her wrist. "Nervous? With me?" He shook his head with a soft smile. "I thought we had gotten a little past the wringin of the hands."
