He grinned. "Hey Jack. I've heard about what's been going on. Anything I can do to help?"

Jack sighed. "Yeah..and no. Don't know what people can do to help really...its been a mess." He rubbed his temples. "And frankly, I'm tired." He looked up at his best friend. "Maybe just talkin' it out with ya would help. You always help me see things betta."

Les came out of the bathroom and saw david. Les felt like he stopped breathing for a second "DAVID!" Les ran as fast as he could and wrapped his tiny arms around David as much as he could "I missed you David, where have you been?!"

David was about to answer Jack when Les came out. He smiled and picked up his brother, giving him a big hug. "Heya Les, how've ya been?" He set him down and looked back to Jack. "Yea alright, start talking Jack."

Jack ighed. "...I'd rather talk to you when we're alone, if ya know what I mean." He would rather not have Les hear this.

Les looked around "How come i cant ever listen to you two talk. Its not like its going to hurt me or anything. I think I'm old enough to handle the truth" Les never liked being left out, especially when it had to do with Dave and Jack.

David looked down at Jack and rubbed his hair. "Don't worry Les, it has nothing to do with you being young, we'll come and get you when we're done. Why don't you go down to the bunks and talk with Race or something?" He then picked him up, carrying him on his shoulders, then set him down outside the door. "It won't be too long." He smiled and closed the door. Walking back to Jack he smiled.

Jack sighed, sitting in a chair. "...Heard anything about the Raconteurs, David?" He looked tired, genuinely tired.

He sat down as well. "I've heard the name, but I couldn't tell you much about them." He felt bad that he had been gone for so long.

Jack sighed. "Corruptin' kids all over New York...kidnapping people...its a mess." He rubbed his forehead. "Snyder is in league with them...its a mess." He looked up at David. "I got some ideas I want to bounce off ya--you always tell me if my ideas are rediculous."

He nodded, wondering how he had missed all that. "Alright," he smiled. "I'm listening."

Jack paused for a moment, then spoke. "...We have a lot more people than they do...if we could catch them off guards, and storm their main headquarters...we should be able to take them down, I would think....maybe talk to the ympathetic cops?"

David thought about it for a moment. "You know Jack, that sounds like a great idea. It'll take a lot of secrets, so the word doesn't slip out. You would mainly only want the leaders and the cops to know ahead of time, then let the newsies know right before it happens. Because if the raconteurs find out what the plan is, then it won't work. But, all in all, and ambush is a great plan!!"

Jack nodded. "Yeah...I was gonna go tell the leader's now, actually..." He smirked and clapped David on the back. "Always dah best bouncin' board I knows."
