Robbie was a bit surprised that she had asked. Though he had come from money, he wasnt that much of a snob like his parents. Robbie had always liked to play with the servants and their children, inviting them to his lavish birthday parties and always eager to help out. He never understood why the money never went to his head, his father would scold him for interacting with the "commoners." But he just disobeyed him, like he recently did moving out here to New York. He smiled at her, gently touching her shoulder, "Of course I want to take you here. If people stare, thats their problem."

Mollie nodded, looking around at the people who were already beginning to stare. She sighed and did her best to ignore him. "Thanks... again." she said, looking up at him as they were seated. "What do you do for a living, exactly... if you dont mind my askin?" she asked.

"Oh I'm an actor...well I'm trying to be one that is." Robbie so far hadnt had much luck trying to find work in this town. He picked up his menu and started to flip through it.

'An actor, hmm?" she asked as she looked at her menu, legs crossed. "Where are you going to act?" she asked. She knew some of the places around here, although she hadn't been living here for much more then a year.

Mollie glanced up, smiling softly. "Ah, I see. I know plenty like you... maybe later you could show me how ya act? I mean, if ya want to... ya know, I'd be interested." she said with a shrug, trying to figure out what she wanted to say exactly.

Robbie smiled brightly, he hadnt performed since he was at his stuck up private school back home. "I'd love to perform for you Mollie. Hope you dont mind the classics...thats mostly what I know..."

Mollie returned the smile, shaking her head no. "I'd love to watch... the classics aren't called the classics fer nothin, ya know..." she said, suddenly conscious about the way she spoke. Everyone else here spoke so... properly.. compared to her.

"You know any of Shakespeare's work? I love to recite lines from his plays."

"That's fantastic! Perhaps you've seen the one I was just in at school, "A Midsummer Nights Dream"?

She thought about it a moment. "I've heard of it," she said after her pause to think. "I dont remember too much, but if you perform something from it I'm sure I'll remember." she said, setting the menu to the side of her.

Robbie nodded, "Dont worry Mollie, I'll be happy to recite some lines for you. Have you decided what you wanted?"

Glancing back at the menu, she nodded. "I think I'll just get the soup and a tea, maybe." she said. "What about you?" she asked, crossing and uncrossing her legs under the table.

Robbie scanned the menu over quickly, "I think I'll have the roast beef sandwhich with a cup of coffee." He waved the waitor down, a bit strange since he himself was a waitor and ordered for the two of them.
