A room lined with hammocks, not bunks, this is where The Bronx newsies sleep.

Fancy sat down quietly on her hammock and slowly rocked herself back and forth. Today had been slow, busy! Yet... slow. All she wanted to do was have a good time now and she didn't know what was holding her back... scratch that, yes she did. She sighed and quickly decided she would stay here and wait for someone interesting to talk to....

Anna strode into the room, an old gunny sack thrown over her shoulder. She looked around at the hammocks and shrugged. It was a whole lot better than what she was used to at any rate.

Jackle had made up his mind that he'd at least go in the lodgin' house at the moment seeing as there was nothin' better to be done. He walked up the stairs and walked in noticing the two girls. "OH sorry. Didn't mean to interrupt anything." He sighed sitting down on his hammock then laying back staring at the ceiling.

Anna shook her head with a grin. "S'alright. You wasn't interruptin'. I was just lookin' for a bunk." She made her way over to a hammock and sat down, dropping her bag on the floor.

Jackle nodded his head at Anna. "Names Jackle by the way." He looked back up to the ceiling trying to think of something fun to do.

"Nice ta meet'cha Jackle. I'm Anna, or Two Socks. Which ever really." Anna said, pulling a worn copy of Oliver Twist out of her gunny sack. She leaned back in her hammock with a sigh and began reading.

Jackle glanced back over at Two Socks. "Interestin' nickname." That was his only comment before he closed his eyes driving back memories and boredom.

<<New Day>>
Murder led Coop into the Bronx lodging house bedroom. There was a small place sectioned off--where she normally slept. She had set it up to keep the other kids out--and they did. They knew better than to get in Murder's business. For not only did they have to answer to her, but they would have to answer to Ace as well.
This would have to do for Coop until she could figure out better arrrangements. She gestured to her hammock and smiled. The kids wouldn't pay him any mind.

Coop looked around the bedroom. He walked over to the hammock and sat down on it. It looked like he was thinking about something. "Thanks for what you're doin. You know, the food and this."

Murder shrugged and ruffled his hair a bit, poking him in the chest playfully. It's nothing..really. Least I could do. She pulled out a blanket, laying it over him gently. He would be safe here. She hoped he understood her enough to know that at least.

Coop sighed and layed down. It would be the first good sleep he had in a long while. Not even a minute afterwards, he was sound asleep.

Murder smiled softly and gave him a soft protective kiss on the forehead, smoothing his hair down a bit before taking a seat in a plush chair nearby, opening a book to read. Poor kid...never took a chance to stop running...

Around five hours later, Coop slowly opened his eyes. He sat up, slowly observing his surroundings. He didn't know where he was for a few minutes. And then he saw Murder and it all came back to him. He layed back down and stared up at the ceiling.

Murder yawned a bit from where she was almost dozing, smiling a bit at Coop. She stood up and ruffled his hair a bit. Gesturing, asking if he was okay. She felt good and calm around him. Kept her mind off of the other things.
