Jackle had led Denim and Isabela here. It was his way of calming down after having been in Brooklyn in the first place. "Lovely isn't it."

"This is where i sleep most of the time. Save for when it's actually better to be in the lodgin' house of some other abandoned building." He smiled looking out at the water. "IT's beautiful when it rains." He let go of her arm and bent down to run his hand through the mud of the banks calming himself considerably. "Sorry. Its my calming area." He smiled again looking at the girls.

Isabela looked at the two of them with a smile. "It was wonderful talking with the both of you, but I really have to get back to my tent before I have so many people I can't talk fast enough!" She laughed a little. "Drop by some time and say hello. Goodbye!" she said as she waved and headed back off towards her tent in Brooklyn.

SHe shrugged. "I dont know what there is to see."She said. "Ihavent been around much so I dont know what there is. Do you know anything I could see?"She asked raising her brow at him.

Jackle smiled. "Why don't it take you to the shop i work at when i'm not sellin papes." He took her hand this time and lead her off to Hattie's.

Mini looked at the water longingly. She really wanted to go swimming but it was too cold, so unless she wanted to spend several days with a cold or even worse she was staying out of the water. Sitting down on the bank brought her knees up and wrapped her arms around her legs.

Nick led SlingShot to the Riverbank of the Harlem River. He looked around, and it seemed to be bustling rather nicely. Perfect day for what they were doing. Though as some men walked past the two of them, they shot interesting looks at SlingShot.

SlingShot watched the men walk by, confused at their faces. Who were they looking at. She glanced down at herself. Oh yeah. She glanced to Nick for instruction.

"I'll stay here, and keep an eye on your work. The better ya do, the more ya get, remember that. And if ya get in any trouble you just yell for me, I'll come and get you," he promised her. "Now, you just go and do exactly as I told you," he said nodding to her.

SlingShot nodded and headed out towards the crowd. She paused a moment and looked hesitantly back at him, then walked briskly forward and faded into the crowd of people. After a few moments she spotted a man, wallet hanging out of his pocket. He was busy, in heated argument with another man. She came up behind him and after a moment, pulled the wallet carefully out of his pocket, slipping it into the pocket of her dress. The man kept walking and she stopped, surprised at herself that she had gotten away with it. She looked to Nick, a smile beginning to appear on her face.

He smiled at her the whole time. She looked like she was doing pretty good to him. He gave her an encouraging nod, and relaxed a bit for now, but kept an eye on her. He always enjoyed watching people work, especially when they enjoyed it.

SlingShot smiled at his nod and got back to work. The back of her mind kept tugging on her, telling her this was a bad thing, but she ignored it. As she grabbed 2 more wallets and a purse, she grinned at herself. She never imagined she could be so good at being bad. She returned to Nick shortly after, proudly showing him what she had.
