Finally Giselle noticed that she had sold all of her papers. She ended on that note, lowering herself from her ballet pose in front of Pie Eater. She smiled at him, at his gawking. "Well, that was easier then I thought it would be..." She said, somewhat proud that she had managed to sell all her papers so efficiently. "Did you like that?" She asked, her smile sticking. She was referring to the dancing, of course.

"Wha.." Pie Eater looked at the ground for a moment. He felt a sheepish that she had obviously noticed his staring and fiddled with his suspender anxiously. After an awkward moment he said "yeah it was nic--" but stopped because it just was coming out wrong. He decided just to ignore it all together and go back to papers..there was so much less that could be incorrectly construed.
"It really doesn't take much when ya find yer angle." He smiled shyly still trying to ignore his embarrassment. "You could be outsellin' half the newsies in a week if ya wanted"

Giselle smiled at him sympathedically. She could tell he was somewhat embarassed, although that hadn't been her goal. "Thats good to know," She began, gathering her hat and sliding the change into her hand, then into her purse.
Giselle looped her arm around one of his. She would suggest grabbing something to eat in a moment, but she wanted the answer to her question.
"But did you like my dancing?" She persisted. She hoped he didn't feel too awkward about it, she just wanted his honest opinion.

Pie snapped his head towards her, a bit surprised but smiled. He relaxed a bit and shifted his arm around so it was hooked on hers better.
"Of course I did" The enthusiasm he normally had started to gain momentum in his voice. "On the street dancin's one thing - thats why I can't wait to see it up on the stage with all the lights and them froo-frooy costumes!"

Giselle smiled proudly at that. "Good, Im glad you liked it," She said, equally as enthusiastically. "When do you think you could come to a show?" She asked as they began to head towards the center of town again, maybe for lunch or something.

Pie shrugged following her lead - they were in her territory. "I dunno..me life is pretty busy. I may 'ave to make my secretary check my schedule" He joked just to reenforce the fact that as a newsie his life pretty much consisted only of selling.

Giselle smiled. "Well, you are welcome to come whenever you want." She said, walking into the busier downtown area.
"Do you want to get something to eat?" She asked casually, looking over at him.

Pie Eater's eyes lit up. "I think ya read my mind" He said grinning. After a few more steps he stopped and tightened his hold on her arm so she would follow suit. "On one condition." He looked at her furrowing his brow, "It's on me - ya already did enough fer me today"

Giselle stopped, listening to him. "But you bought me the papers..." She said. If he really wanted to pay he could, but she knew he didn't make too much money in a day and he'd be spending more then he needed to on her.

"Psssh" He closed his eyes and shook his head, "those were for educational purposes - they don't mattah." He lived on meager budget days of ups and downs. Pie didn't really care though - he'd been doing pretty good lately and though this little 'spree' might put him under for tomorrow the fact of the matter was it was for good reason- one he'd enjoy more than another stack of papers to sell.

Giselle smiled at him, "Well, then.. I don't see why not..." She agreed, "so long as your sure you want to." She liked Pie Eater, he was more chivalrous then most guys she'd met. He was just more sweet and gentleman like, and she liked that.

Pie Eater grinned triumphantly. He was happy she didn't fight him more - it was a thrill for him because it wasn't everyday he got to do something for a pretty lady. His feet started moving again in no direction in particular. Still looking forward he blurted, "My feet are jus' walkin'..not takin' us anywhere..."

((Haha, sweet)) Giselle smiled, remembering that they were in Queens and he didn't know where he was going. "Oh, right. " she said, looking around to grasp her bearings. She finally got it and realized they were near Molivo's. "Well, theres a restaraunt around the corner, if you want to go there. Its pretty good, Greek." She suggested.

Pie nodded. "Sure, sounds great. Nevah met Ceaser before" He smiled not really understanding the difference between Greeks and Romans (hell they all were a bunch of guys in dresses) Slowing his pace so she could take over he added, "lead the way"

Giselle smiled at his Ceaser comment, not about to correct him. She took the lead, swerving through the throng of people. Finally they approached Molivo's. "Well, here we are." She said. ((To Molivos, then?))
