Outside the back door, in an alley way, you can walk, be outside, get some fresh air out here. Keep your eyes open for lurkers though.

Fox walked into the alley. The cool air felt amazing. She still held onto to Skittery's hand, half subconciously. As she stopped walking she turned to look at him, finally able to hear herself. "Are you alright?" She asked, just then realizing the continued connection, she let go and felt her cheeks flush.

"Yeah, jus' felt like I was suffocatin' in there.." Skittery smirked a little when she let go of his hand, having thoroughly enjoied the slight contact. He took a deep breath, happy to be away from the commotion for awhile. Reaching into his coat Skits pulled out a cigarette and a match. He raised an eyebrow as an offering to Fox as he lit and started to puff on the small twist of paper.

"Yea it was a bit crowded." She admitted smiling softly. She watched him take out the cigarette. She hesitated but decided she didn't want one right now. "No thanks." She smiled, "But thanks for the offer, not everyone is willing to share their smokes." She watched for a minute. "So, Skittery, which borough are you in?"

Skittery looked at the small cigarette pressed between his fingers and a smile pulled onto the right side of his face. "Like gold to a bunch of street rats..." He glanced back at her, "some people you jus' don't mind sharin' with even if it does set ya back a bit..." He took another drag before answering her question. "Manhattan which you ain't. And ya seem too soft to live under the reign of Spot Conlon" he sneered a bit at the mention of Brooklyn - he and Spot hadn't had the nicest of visits last... "So Queens or Bronx?"

Fox smiled as he mentioned that some people you just don't mind sharing with. She liked Manhattan, it was one of her favorite cities, apart from Bronx. She nodded at his logic. He was right after all. "I"m from Bronx." She grinned. "Which also means that I do have a tough side." She added teasingly. She was known for her ability to sneak around, and turn up out of no where, it's how she got her name, Fox. She shivered as a small bit of wind creeped into the alley.

"Toughest fairy in Bronx" he teased back, "If anyone didn't know better they would be thinkin' you were gonna mug with wit yer pixy dust in this alley" He rolled his eye good natured and twirled the cigarette hanging out of his mouth with his tongue.
He took notice of her chill and shrugged of his coat holding it out to her but frowned when he looked at the wings, "Don't think its big enough fer yer wingspan..we can go back in if ya like?"

Fox grinned and chuckled lightly. "Yea, you'd be so surprised to have a fairy attack you, it's all part of the plan." She smirked and looked at his coat as he handed it to her. Then frowned at the suggestion to go inside.
"No! I don't want to go back!" She twisted her hands behind her, undoing the hooks of the wings and taking them off. She set them gently against the wall so she could return then in good condition. Then she took his coat and put it on. "Thanks." She smiled softly.

He rose an eyebrow at her strong reaction, but couldn't be more please - stupid party. "Jus' ruined yer own plan.." He shook his head "Now yer jus' a pretty girl in a blue dress wit evening' tails - nothing tough about that" She looked ridiculous in the over sized coat he had to chuckle.

Her eyes lit up in delight and she shrugged. "Oh well, I can't fool people all the time." She didn't care how she looked in the coat, at least she warm. She could caught his scent in the coat, and was surprised at how amazing it was. She smiled at Skittery, not sure of what to say right now.

Skittery was glad to have his long underware about now - kept from being outwardly cold after his gallant action. He tapped some smoldering ash on the ground and sighed. "I'm glad I came." He said out of no where avoiding Fox's eyes. "Hate the commotion but it's nice ta meet someone worthwhile in dis lousy city"

She smiled softly. "I'm glad I came too. I almost didn't." She commented, then noticing that he was cold, she did something very forward. Walking up to him she moved the coat around him, so they were both snuggly inside of it. She looked up at him and smiled. "Better?" She asked gently.

Skittery was caught off guard, not expecting Fox to really touch him again after she blushed the last time. When she snuggled up to him the remaining inch or so of his cigarette slipped from his hand to the cobblestone. He didn't bother to pick it up, rather he enjoined the situation and eased his face. "Best I been all night" He finally responded

She smiled, this time she didn't blush. "I'm glad." She said happily. Her eyes sparkling in the little light in the alley. She would have appologized for being so forward if he hadn't commented the way he did. After a moment she realized the absence of the cigarette, but she said nothing. "Yup, I'm definitely glad I came." She said matter-of-factly.

Skittery wriggled his arm up and over hes shoulder so he could pull himself further into the worn jacket. "Only showed up so I wouldn't get accused for bein' moody or nothin' when Race, Blink and all them were talkin' bout the dance..." He started to explain his presence then it hit him - he'd actually been in a good mood since he started to talk to Fox, the conversation void of his cynical remarks. "Ha they probably don't know I'm even 'ere since I'm spendin' my time out in dis alley with you.." He chuckled to himself at the irony.
