Murder smirked a bit. He is a bit jumpy..either hiding something or just worried
Shaking her head, she put her hand to her throat, indicating her inability or unwillingness to speak. She did, however, pull out her cards, showing a couple.
Murder.. From Bronx.. You are?
She put the cards away and put her hands on her hips, waiting. She may not have been able to talk, but she could hold her own, her dark green eyes watching him.

"Oh." He put his sack down beside him and offered his hand. "Name' s Coop. I'm from...all over." He smiled a little.

Murder nodded. It was at times like these that she wished she could talk. No matter. She knew how handle herself. Taking his hand she shook it gently but with some firmness.
She made a few gestures with her hands, asking what he was doing in New York. New people came to New York every day, but something about this kid told her that he was from here...but just hadn't been back in a while.
Something about him struck her curiosity--something that is difficult to do.

"Well, I knew I couldn't stay away forever. You can't just run away from your problems," he said, staring off. He then realized what he had openly told this girl, a complete stranger.
There was something about her that made him feel ok. For the few seconds he was talking, he had loosened up and forgot all his worries, but they came back just as quickly as they had left.

Murder nodded and smiled a bit sadly. She understood completely. Her own past and problems stayed close to her, but she knew how to deal with the issues that came from it. She survived as best she could, and one could even say she was thriving. If you stared down your problems long enough, eventually they would just disappate in the wind...
She put a hand on his arm, and then back to herself, showing that she understood what he was talking about. Clearly he had been running from something, but decided to come back and face it. It showed that he had strength and character, something she admired in people.

Coop noticed the saddened look on her face.
"I'm sorry. Was it something I said?"
He could tell she was going through something. Maybe something very similar to what he was going through.

Murder shook her head and managed a soft smile. Smiling was something she never did, save with Ace. And Ace was her best friend, so, she noticed, Coop definitely had a disarming affect on her.
She shrugged and just motioned that she too had run from a bad situation and was hiding, but things were well. She wasn't in harm's way.

Coop nodded. "That's good." He looked around once more, noticing no one was around that he could see. This wasn't like him. He was rarely nervous and never scared. I came back didn't I? I already did what they said I never would. "So, what brings you here? You plannin on leavin?" He joked.

Murder laughed softly, the sound pealing about the air for a minute and she shook her head. She pulled out a card.
Wandering.
She noticed he seemed really edgy, as if someone was going to catch him at any moment. She definitely knew that look--its the one she had when she was in Manhattan. Pausing, she gestured out of the yards and held up a card.
Food?

He smiled for a moment, but then it quickly disappeared. He stepped a little closer towards her and spoke quietly.
"I don't know if you wanna hang around me. I've done some things that I'm not proud of and now...I mean, you could be in danger for just being seen with me."

Murder rolled her eyes and shook her head. Nothing could top what her father had done, and what danger she had been in just living with his people.
A bit agrivated at her lack of vocal skills she bent down and scribbled something quickly on a card, and held it up.
All have done things we aren't proud of. I'm no wilting flower. I can take anything anyone throws at me.
She smirked and raised an eyebrow, as if giving him a dare. Come on...

Coop smiled and let out a small chuckle, holding his hands up in mock defense.
"It's funny, but I really believe you could." He nodded. "Alright."

Murder nodded and paused, thinking where to go. She turned to him and held up the 3 burrough cards. If he was worried about being caught for something, he could choose which burrough he felt the least threat. 'hattan was off the table. She couldn't go there.
Bronx Brooks Queens
She looked at him questionly, her dark sapphire eyes sparkling under her curly blonde hair.

He was sure he couldn't go to Brooklyn. There was someone in Queens he used to hang out with. He was on his way there before he met Murder, anyway. "Queens."

Murder nodded. She knew of some resturant in Queens that they both could keep out of sight. She couldn't risk being seen either.
Nodding with a soft smile, she gestured for him to follow her and she started walking to Molovios'
