Dodger nodded, ready to help with a grin. "Sorry if I'm all thumbs, Miss. Haven't had a hand in cookin' since my own Mum moved to Boston." But some things you never really forgot as he set about his task.

Mrs. Hendry tapped him with a spoon. "Ach, call me Mum, bairn...I ain't been a miss in a long time." She laughed softly. "And I can be your mum while your mum is gone, if ye can handle a scot." She smirked.
Her son definitely took after her.

Dodger grinned at her, "No problem with you bein' a Scot." He chirped as he continued to work, he liked Peem's mum. She was a right sort, just like Peem was. "And since you're me stand in Mum and all, ya might want ta call me Sam. Since you'll prolly be shoutin' at me." He grinned like the devil, he knew what mother's were like and he just had a tendency of getting scolded and bopped on the head, by mother's and the other women in his life.

Peem gave a look of mock hurt. "You never told me your real name was Sam!" He laughed.
Mrs. Hendry laughed. "Ach...ye might be the death o me...but perhaps ye should spend yer nights here so I know ya safe." She smirked. Her and Peem always took in the 'stray' friends.

Dodger winked at Peem, "It's a secret, so keep it to yourself mate, only a few know me by that name.."
He looked at Mrs. Hendry a moment before he nodded with a shrug, "Better then watchin' Kelly mope around all day." He winked at her as he trussed up the salad. "Two Brits in the same house, that will be an adventure."

Mrs. Hendry laughed merrily. "Aye, aye."
Peem sighed. "Blaize should be home by now...I dont know where he is..."

Dodger shrugged and then laughed. He was bound to have a grand old time with these folk. He didnt' doubt that for a second.

Summoned, apparently by the sound of his name, Blaize slipped inside, running a hand through his hair. He grinned wryly, slipping his arm around Mrs. Hendry's neck, tucking the flower he picked up on his way home behind her ear. "Hello mum." It was a habit he had picked up, bringing her home a flower everyday. Just another thing that made Blaize, Blaize.

Mrs. Hendry laughed and batted Blaize away. "Ach Michael..ye spoil this old goil.." She smiled and nodded to Peem. "Tell ye friend about ye new friend.."
Peem gave Blaize a gruff hug and gestured to Dodger. "Blaize, this is Dodger--he's a brit too."

Dodger watched the new comer a moment before he grinned good naturedly, he was Dodger after all.
"Nice ta finally meet ya, mate." He held out his hand with a smirk. There was no telling what was going on behind the smile and laughing blue eyes, but it wasn't generally something bad.

"And here i thought i was the only one." Eyebrow raising ever so slightly, his lips quirking up into a grin, Blaize shook the other's hand. "I would say the same, but i dont know what this crazy scot told you about me." He shot Peem a teasing glance.

Peem batted Blaize on the head. "Oi...I haven't say anything bad aboutcha. Not even anything about ya cake obsession." He winked and gave a mock look of hurt.
Mrs. Hendry pipped up. "Dinner is served, get plates boys!" She was wondering where Smokes was, but she didn't ask Peem. She knew her son liked to keep some things private.
Davey came in and hugged Blazie a bit before going to get his plate.

Dodger smirked and then smiled brightly. "Ah, I only believe what I see, mate." He winked at Blaize and followed suit, watching the others, he grabbed his plate. "Nothing wrong with a little cake now and then." He couldn't help but grin, letting his walls down a bit. It was easy, with these people.

Giving his little brother a hug, Blaize chuckled, shaking his head. "No, nothing wrong with it at all." So he had a cake obsession...He was allowed. And Mrs. Hendry certainly helped fuel it, that was for sure. Picking up a plate, he grinned a bit. "So, if you dont mind me askin, where in our fair homeland do you come from, Dodger?"

Dodger smirked bightly, "Not at all, mate. London originally, but me mum is from Wales." He ran a hand threw his hair and rubbed his neck a bit with a yawn. He was hungry, and a bit tired, but he grinned none the less. These folk were all right, and it was nice to have another Brit to speak to, he kind of missed the sound of England now and again.
