Hawkeye half smiled, "That's good. I almost thought you'se was from Brookie for a minute. Can't be too careful now, war an' all ya know?" she paused, then asked, "Hey, d'ya know why you'se guys pulled outta the war anyway?"

Angel grinned and nodded. "Yeah, I knew. Just thoght I'd mess with youd." She frowned a little and furrowed her eye brows. She shook her head. "I think Ace just didn't want any of us to get hurt. Aint a nobler man in all 'a New York if ya ask me.'

She smirked and took another bite out of her apple, "I'se heard he's a nice guy," she said, obviously referring to Ace, "He's got a lotta guys ta do that though, huh? I mean, he was sided with Brooklyn, after all. Wonder how Spot's takin' that," she mused.

Angel sighed and shook her head. "Knowin' Spot he aint takin' it oo good." She stared at her apple, deeply, like it held the secrets of the universe. "He's got too much pride," she said, referring to Spot. "Otherwise this whole thing would be over by now. After all, they found out who killed the kid."

That last part sparked Hawkeye's interest. She hadn't heard about this.
"They foud 'im? Who was it? Why'd they do it?" There were more questions buzzing aorund in her head, but she was more curious about who killed Spike and why. He was just a kid after all, why would anyone kill a kid?

Angel bit her lip nervously. Maybe it was supposed to be kept a secret. She jumped up. "Uh nothin'! Just one of those mistakes, you know. Sometimes my brain goes off on it's own."

When Hawkeye said it back to her, Angel noticed how stupid it sounded. She shrugged it off. She didn't want to be the cause of anything. She grabbed her papers off the bench. "Yeah, well, I gotta get goin'. I'll see you later."

Though she was still curious about what Angel had meant, she didn't press the matter.
"Okay, guess I'll see ya 'round," she shrugged, "Remember, jus' make it seem like some big threat ta the city's comin'. You'll have ya papes sold in no time," she grinned slightly and bit into her apple once more.

Aura stepped up and bought an apple, frowning. She was very upset about the whole thing with Flick, and hoped that maybe some fresh fruit would cheer her up.

Hawkeye turned, noticing another person approaching the cart. She vaguely recognized her to be a waitress at... what's it called? Hell's Kitchen, that's the one.
She straightened her posture and stretched, glancing once more at the red-head.
