Someting flickered behind her eyes, and it had nothing to do with the game. She gave him his card and furrowed her brow. "Honesty wasnt' that important to me.." she murmured laying her hand down. She showed her hand, full house eights over tens."I've lied about being a girl since I was small, but, it doesn't seem to important anymore." she didn't know why. Maybe meeting Isabella and being reminded she WAS a girl. Whatever it was, she didn't feel the need to lie.

Sneaks smirked and folded. He had nothing this time. "...Liars and Cheaters deserve nothing better than Hell." His eyes were hard, watching her. He never lied. He may have...stretched the truth from time to time, talked in riddles, and done various non-cheating things to better his hand, but he never considered himself to be lying or cheating in his mind.
"...Glad it doesn't seem important. I'd rather not have to take up issue with you."

He smiled softly, obviously deep in thought. "I'm bound for hell anyway, Sneaks. Don't ya know, I'm a heathen." She folded her arms and leaned back, this guy had her thinking. She was a smart girl, a cunning one. She'd lied, cheaten, stolen in order to protect herself. No one had been harmed by it, but it wasn't worth it to her anymore. She could live threw her wits alone. " I'm tired of bein someone my Pop'd be ashamed of. And I'd rather not fight you, we got enough problems fightin' ta stay alive at any rate..."

Sneaks shuffled the cards, leaning back in his seat a moment or two before pulling out a cigarette, pressing it between his lips. "I wouldn't fight you. Just make sure you never had a game in town again." He lit a match, taking a long drag on it before continuing. "But since your renouncin' your old ways...I gots no quarrel with you."

She smirked and watched him. "What'd ya do, break my fingers?" she didn't expect him to answer, so she watched him. No one ever came out of life clean., being things as they were. "Dont answer dat I'm pretty sure I don't want ta know. I havea feelin' I wouldn't come out of dat lookin' to good in any case. Deal em, Sneaks. See how long we can go before I fall asleep.."

Sneaks shook his head. "No. I never hit girls. Not unless I am being physically assaulted myself." He smirked. He was being much more direct with her than he was with most people. Guess it was the fellow gambler in her that let him ease up on her a bit. He dealed the cards. "Impatience will get you no where..."

She pouted a bit, then grinned at him. Taking her cards. "Heh, I can't count the times I've been told that.." she looked her cards over a moment then tossed four cards out. she was comfortable with him, or at least getting there. It was wierd, she was normally on the defensive, or shallow. She didn't normally talk to someone like she did him. Without hiding anything. "I'm very patient, I just don't act it to much.."

Sneaks smirked. "...Contradictions, bluffs...its what we're good at." He disgarded two cards, arranging them a bit after he got the new ones. "...I am patient when I am supposed to be, impatient when I'm not...all how you spin the coin, flip the card..."

".. It's all how you play the game," she said with a nod, adjusting her cards. "Life is a game, wit differnt rules forged by different people." She shrugged and showed her hand. She had nothing, but she was having fun. She liked how he talked , it was different then anyone she'd ever met. "Though, it's all about playing da game your way, rules can be bent an' shaped if dey need ya be.."

Sneaks smirked, a laugh playing across his lips. "It's called playing your hand better than the other..." He chuckled softly, remembering his conversation with Ace about brass knuckles so long ago.
"....I do believe I have never met someone so much like me as you. ..." He layed down three of a kind. "...Bet our father's knew eachother."

"I wouldn't be surprised," she said with a grin. "Sounds like someone Pop'd have loved ta play wit. Pop always said I was his good luck charm, I was there when he died.." she smiled at the irony of it all. ".. guess I wasn't so lucky."

Sneaks raised an eyebrow. "Guess you weren't." He studied the cards for a moment. "...wasn't near when my dad died. We never much played together...started playing more when mom went back to Czech."

She watched him a moment. "Kinda wish my mama had gone back ta Romania.. " she balanced her head on her propped up fist as she talked. "But, da past is what it is and no use regrettin' what can't be changed." She closed her eyes a minute as if she were thinking before she straightened and shrugged. "If you're old man was anythin' like you I'm pretty sure he an' Pop got along alright."

Sneaks shrugged. "My dad was much more naive than I. Stuck in the old world." He waved his hand, gesturing to the city around him. "I'm a man of this world...I'm the future, baby." He seemed to almost wink and pushed the cards towards her. "...your deal."

She chuckled and took the cards, shuffling a minute before she delt. She was enjoying talking freely, it was nice. "If you're the future, I'd say we're all doomed," he grinned at him before she looked at her cards and laughing a bit. "Though, I can say da same about myself."
