"Yeah an' you, you keep bein' girly." He grinned at her "Would ya mind patchin' my pants?" He pointed out the little rips he aquired from his 'fight' with Ace, "or even knittin' me a nice sweatah?" He started to laugh evily amused by his own jokes and brushed his greasy hair out of his eyes.

He glared, resenting her assumption (even if it was a joke and quite true). "I work jus' hard enough!" He snorted at her and added a pathetic "hmph" tabute. after a moment of protest he added quietly, "Ya prolly couln't knitt fer beans...yer fingers are like yer height..stubby" like he had room to speak

Flanna needed time to think. Hearing that Bronx was netural again, she didn't feel scared to wander there anymore...not that should have in the first place. Her injuries were healing up better. Walking along the beach, she sighed, the sea air blowing through her hair. Seeing a few kids in the distance, she started walking towards them.

Lukas heard someone stepping near them in the sand. He quickly turned his head and raised an eyebrow. No idea who this kid was. "Who are you?" He asked rather rudely.

Flanna raised an eyebrow at the boy. "Flanna. Queens newsie." She looked him over. "And I assume from your gruff demeanor you're probably from the Bronx." She flashed her million dollar smile.

He only glared at Cheater, now more interested in the invader. He hadn't heard the news of Bronx's with drawl so his rudeness stayed along with his glare. "We'll arnt ya sure of yerself?" He snorted, "Why ya in my territory?" He got to his feet in attempts to look menacing.

Flanna set her jaw and didn't back down. She would never back down again. "You're territory?? Rumor is that this is neutral ground now!
And what if it wasn't neutral!? You going to hit me?" Her bright eyes flashed. She was nervous, but she didn't let it show, and didn't break eye contact.

Lukas shifted, looking away for a moment, eye contact was awkward. "Neutral? We'll those rumors haven't found my ears!" He looked at Cheater wondering if it was true or not. "Hit ya? No it wouldn't be worth wastin' my strength on a Queens newsie, unless ya started it..." He kept his gruffness but was really hopping he would have to fight despite what Ace taught him - he wasn't so sure about it. However, he'd probably talk himself into a fight unintentionally as usual. At least it would be a fairer fight than most, she was only a smidge taller.
