Fighter's brow rose, "Eastman, kin to Monk?" Thoughts began racing through her head but she carefully shielded that from Lucky. She'd never personally met any of the Eastmans but she'd heard enough about them from Scar that she knew she wouldn't want to know them. Fighter finished her drink and pushed her hair back, "Let me know how it goes."

Lucky nodded at the question of kin, "Yeah, she's Monk's kid. She is lookin into taking over the business, spent a good while on the streets hiding from him actually now she wants it all. I don't blame her or nothing but she's a good ally, and a dangerous enemy."
Tossing back the rest of her drink she sighed a bit, "You wanna get outta here and paint the town, I got a beau I don't want to see right now.." because she was pissed and when she got a hold of him-- well.....

Fight nodded and gave a smirk to the comment, but said nothing. She hadn't dated a man since Scar and she never would again. She'd made up her mind long ago that that life wasn't for her and she planned to stick by that. Lighting up a cigarette, Fighter pushed all thoughts of him out of her head. She was with her friend and she knew he wouldn't bring another into it. "Sounds like a plan."

If Scar did by chance consider going after Lucky, he would get a very rude awakening. But she didn't bother, she pulled out her own smoke and lit up letting out a sigh as she sucked in the smoke. "Yeah... where do you want to go?" She and Smalls normally caused all kind of havok. She almost wanted to go and get her and take the girls out on the town. They were just missing Smarty. "Lets go get the other girls and make a group thing of it, hows that?"

Fighter nodded, liking the sound of that idea. "That sounds good." She'd rather travel with the rest of the girls by her side as well. It made her feel safer even though she knew she could take care of herself and so could Lucky. Traveling in numbers was always a better idea and it made for a hell'uva night.

Lucky finished off her drink and smirked a little, "Well lets go.." kicking her feet off of the table he grabbed a smoke and headed off to find the other two girls

Fighter followed behind her, wanting desperately to get this night started. She needed to get control back over her emotions and her thoughts and this was a great way to start that out.

*NEW DAY*
River took his drink to a small table in the corner of the room, hoping to see Lucky walk in. He'd heard about her getting messed up and he wanted to check on her but also wanted to avoid running into any of the Brooklyn guys. He knew he could handle himself but he didn't feel like trying to penetrate the Brooklyn gate that came crushing down anytime one of their own got hurt. For some reason he had a feeling that they wouldn't let him see her.

Lucky was with Zeke when she came into McGinty's. The fact that she was almost going stir crazy was one thing but having a "body guard" like Zeke didn't help. Looking around he tried to think of what he wanted to do before he bent down and whispered to her before leaving her to her own devices.
When she saw River a small smirk crossed her face but it faded as soon as some pain hit and she walked over dropping to a seat across from him. "You're my keeper." She wasn't allowed to be alone outside of the lodging house, sure it pissed her off but it was Spot's orders pretty much. And Zeke really hadn't left her in his care, but he'd had some business to take care of.
"What brings you to my side of the tracks, River?"

River sat up a little straighter as Lucky and Zeke walked into the pub. The minute he saw Lucky's face he became overwhelmed with the urge to pound someones face in, but when she started walking over he tried to push the feeling aside. He was sure she had plenty of people to defend her and she could defend herself pretty damn well. He smirked when she said he was her keeper, that was one thing he could definately live with. "Just thought I'd see how Brooklyn has been faring and it's lovely ladies."

Her brow lifted but she leaned back in the chair and smirked a little, "Oh we're all just dandy.." sarcasm was the best defense that anyone had next to a switch blade and Lucky carried hers in her boot these days. She relaxed a little though and leaned her head back, ordering a beer.
"Your little bakery girl..." Tate, he was from the Bronx everyone knew her. "With her gone Danno's on the fritz.."

River nodded and frowned, he was worried about her. Of course, he was worried about everyone but since Tate had been so worked over before being taken he worried about her a little more. He was a little surprised that it was affecting Hughes so much, usually nothing chipped away his icy exterior. Leaning forward a bit, River gently took Lucky's chin between his thumb and fore-finger and turned her head to the left and right examining the damage. "Worked you over pretty good. Glad to see you got some hits in though." He nodded to her knuckles to make his point. He hoped she did permanent damage to the stupid son of a bitch.
Most guys he knew didn't like men who hit women but he had a special hatred for it because of his background. In his mind a man who hit a woman might as well not be a man at all but a monster. "You want a drink?"

It took her a moment of him studying her face before she batted his hand away and some color came into her roughed up face. Her head turned and she propped her chin on her hand, covering her mouth as she looked away for a moment. What could she do? Her fingers tapped on the table before she looked back at River and she nodded when he asked if she wanted a drink.
"Sure," her hand fell away and she folded her arms as she leaned back into the chair. "How's Dodge?" Was it strange they'd all known each other so long she was sure if she just sat there and said nothing at all she'd be in comfortable company? A soft smile crossed her face at the thought. Like just hanging out with Smalls and saying nothing at all. She liked those times, especially when she was so bloody exhausted.

River motioned for the waitress to come over and ordered Lucky a drink before answering her question. "He's good. He moved all of the guys into the girls lodging house and he's made Lexi a co-leader. Have you met her?" Taking a sip of his drink, he pulled two cigarettes from his pocket and held one out to Lucky.
After lighting his cigarette he held the match out so that she lean in and light hers. He gave her a smile and took a deep drag from his cigarette. It had been far to long since he'd spent time with Lucky. He'd missed how comfortable it was to be around her.

She ran her hand threw her hair and shook her head, "I haven't been into Bronx much save to keep Danno from killing Dodge when that little bakery girl vanished sending Danno over the deep end into drunkness." she sighed and took a drag, taking a breath to light it and smiling. Damn she needed this, a smoke and an old friend.
"What's she like?" oh she tried not to think about the other things running threw her mind, about how many girls River would be around and if he was going to like them. After thinking a moment she reached over and tugged on his hair with a half smirk. Something she'd always done to her close friends when she was relaxing. "Missed you River.." Why deny it and no one in Brooks would say otherwise. Lucky had her rights and she had friends all over the city. Even if River wasn't just another guy to her.. he was her friend.
