"What?" she asked chuckling under her breath looking over her shoulder at the supervisor. "I thought it was funny.." hell she thought it was hilarious and it made his life a little more interesting with just a few words. She folded her arms and tipped her head back to where the hat fell off, because he was tall. "I'm not afraid of you Jim.."

Jim sighed, his exhaustion overtaking his frustration. "Ya know what, do what ya want." An attempt to ignore was always Jim's last resort, but he often quickly reached his limit. His anger was harsh, but usually short lived. He turned and continued his attempt to cover the broken crate.

Sighing Evie looked around for a moment before she crouched down to help him, her hands moving to hide the crate, she tugged one of the crates around and put her hand on his back to let her know she was there before she backed up and folded her arms. "I don't think anyone's going to notice.." oh heaven help them the rich girl had dirt on her face, she brushed her sleeve over her forehead and shrugged. She really didn't want him to lose his job...

Jim startled when she appeared behind him and took a few steps back, watching her. Her feminine strategy of sliding the crates instead of lifting them made him scoff, but the expression dancing across his face was one few witnessed-- amusement. "Don't strain yaself sweet'art," he cautioned sarcastically, turning to retrieve the last of the crates.

She stuck her tongue out at him and as she continued to move the crates to hide the shattered one, she was helping, and she even lifted her skirt a little into a working length and started to move them. He was almost done anyway. She pulled back and looked at her work before brushing her sleeve across her forehead once more. Well you couldn't see the crate.

As he approached the last two crates on the docks he paused, wiping his face with his sleeve and glancing back at Evangeline. He paused momentarily as he bent to lift the crates, his eyes suddenly scrutinizing the female intruder as she ever so slightly lifted her skirt. Smirking to himself he managed to lift the last two together, completely clearing his face of expression as he came up behind her. It wasn't as if he hadn't seen a woman's legs before, he'd been to plenty of places where the women were more than happy to show some skin for a couple bucks, but a woman of her class... it was risking reputation, to be sure.

She looked up at him when he came back and she let out a breath folding her arms to gauge the situation, the crate was well hidden especially with the addition of Jim's and she tilted her head. "You can't see it now.."

He briefly glanced at the finished product, not too concerned. "Nope ya can't.." He paused briefly before making his way off the boat. "Well, I'll be seein' ya." He managed to refrain from adding a sarcastic I'm sure to the end of his sentence as he headed toward the docks; it was noon and his next shipment to unload didn't come in until two. He smirked to himself, his back facing her as he walked. "Thanks for ya help your ladyship." Sure, he was in a better mood than when she first showed up, but thank yous were something he rarely felt obliged to give, at least not without a final snarky jab to end with.

She smirked and snorted as she adjusted her skirt and got off the boat, leaving her hat on the dock and tugging a few pins form her hair and letting it fall down around her shoulders, giving him a look before she began to walk down the dock. "You're welcome, Jim. I'm sure I'll see you around.." she didn't live far.

**New Day**
Avalanche had just gotten off work, and had places to go and things to do. So he was on his way through the Bronx to do them! He'd been in the Bronx working that day, because they had needed a few extra hands. So he was there. He was making his way from the pier just now, and was heading into the bronx to run his errands.

Z turned the corner, her womens rights pamphlets preoccupying her arms and her mind. Trying to sort them and walk at the same time wasnt working very well and they were falling every which way. She had to close the office in 5 minutes and she was still at least 15minutes away. Figured, she'd been a bit scatterbrained lately. She looked up just in time to run into a solid shoulder that sent her pamphlets flying and her falling.
"Goodness gracious."
(Hey looks i found youse ^.^ the shoulder could be his or someone elses its your choice. This shall be fun!)

Suddenly he heard a voice he remembered. He turned around and saw flying pieces of paper. Since they weren't newspapers he knew it instantly. He chuckled, turned around, and headed to help her out. "Looks like things went a little crazy for you," he said chuckling. He handed the pamphlets to her and smiled with his usual charming smile. "How's it goin'?"

Z brushed the hair out of her face with a bright smile as she recognized the voice that came with the hands helping her.
"Why Lanche as I live and breathe." She grinned beautifully up at him and took the pamphlets. "Thank you kindly."
Looks like things went a little crazy for you.
"Only when you're near love." She said straight faced, and earnest. Trying to keep her her lips from twitching in amusement she stood up gracefully and dusted herself off.
"Now look at me my new party dress is all ruined." She put one a fake southern accent and pouted. "You better not be runnin off after this."

He chuckled and handed her the last of the pamphlets. He shook his head. "I had some things to do, but they aren't important," he said quietly. "And what are you doing here?" he asked her with a smile. "Out supporting the cause again?" he picked up a stray pamphlet as it blew by and opened it as though to read it.
"What's the plan?" he asked looking at her, expecting her to have a plan... apparently.
