Aura giggled nervously. That smile that Avalance kept giving her was contageous. "I know. I was joking." She paid the cart vendor for a few vegetables, and slipped the paper bag into her satchel.

He smiled brightly. "See? Just... gotta know what you're up against." He smiled brightly to her. "So, if I may ask... what are the vegetables for?" He was simply curious, but he looked like a kid asking.

"I'd love to," he said. He paused for a moment and chcukled. "I'm kidding, I wouldn't impose that way. May I ask what you're making anyway?" he asked with a sincere smile, just making simple conversation.

He shook his head. "Thank you, it's kind of you to offer and such, but, no thank you." He smiled sincerely to her. "I do appreciate it, just no." He smiled still, happy at the offer, and it's not that he 'wouldn't accept charity' or anything like that. Just... didn't want to steal food from her or anything along those lines.

"I couldn't impose, I was only kidding..." though, true, it sounded good, he wasn't going to... well he didn't want to... he'd just get in the way! "It's fine, trust me," he said with a bright smile. "Thank you." The only way he'd come is if she made him.

*New Day*
Sarah looked over the vegetables carefully making sure there no spots or bruises before placing them into the basket that hung from her arm. She wasn't too fond of vegetables but she didn't absolutely hate them. By themselves they were quite bland, but when they were blended together in a soup, Sarah found theme to be a little on the sweet side.
