Snitch was on his way to the Harbor to see if Butterfly from Queens was ok from her little fall into the Harbor. Snitch saw a little girl run bye who looked like she a on hr way to Queens.
Snitch walked up to Mush with Pockets right behind him. "Heya Mush." said Snitch as he sat down next to him.

"Huh? Oh, hi Snitch..." Mush looked over at the girl smiling and gave her a smile right back for a moment before he turned back to Snitch. "Long time no see, how have you been?" he asked reclining slightly on the pier with a smile.
"And who's the doll?" he asked indicating Pockets. As previously stated, Mush didn't know many Queens newsies, so the chances of him knowing who Pockets was, were slim to none.

"Huh? Oh, hi Snitch...Long time no see, how have you been?"
"I've been good, what 'bout you?" Snitch looked behind him at Pockets who was smiling at Mush.
"And who's the doll?"
"Dis is Pockets." exclaimed Snitch, Snitch made eye contact with Pockets and practically said sit down.

When Mush said this, it made Pockets blush. "Dis is Pockets." She saw the look that he gave her, so she sat down, hopefully pleasing his look.
"Hi, it's nice ta meetcha Mush" She spit in her hand and held it out for him.

Mush nodded and shook Pocket's hand after spiting in it. "Nice ta meetcha Pockets," he said nodding congenially.
"I'se been alright, nothin' new to report really. The price hike is a bit painful, but... since when ain't the big boys up stairs gougin' us?" he said with a shrug and a roll to his eyes. "
Gotta love it when they make life harder for us in purpose huh?" he said as he took a deep breath and sat up straight again.

Pockets frowned. "Yeah, I have no clue what Prince is gunna do 'bout it, but hopefully we can sell papers again."

"Prince?" he knew who Prince was but, his point was, "who knows what any of the leaders are gonna do!" he shook his head. "We ain't really heard about a plan yet. I dunno even what jack's gonna do. Or maybe I'm just outta the loop." He shrugged a little. "We should figure out if we're going to take action or not soon because I think some people are sellin', and if they are... well I dunno, we just need to come to a solution, that's all," he shook his head.

Snitch shook his head, Snitch didn't know what they were gonna do either.. We could go on STRIKE but...that probably not work..thought Snitch

Mush shruged. "So I was comin' down here and... well see there was this little girl who fell in the water. she... well she ran off to run around the block a few times," he said laughing. "She might come back, but I'm not sure!" he laughed again. shaking his head he wasn't really sure what was gonna happen.
"So what are you two doin' here?" he asked. "I mean..." didn't see many Queens kids in Manhattan, but he didn't want to say that, so he just shrugged.

Pockets laughed out loud. She was wondering who the little girl was, if she was even a Queens Newsie. "Well, we kind of had somethin' ta tell ya...Snitch and I are a couple..."
As she blushed she looked at Snitch, then back to Mush with a smirk. When she turned to look at Mush, she saw that he still had his shirt off and looked down at the ground blushing furiously.

Mush stared at them and blinked a couple of times. "...couple of what?" he asked. And the thing was he was serious, he didn't have a clue what pockets was talking about. Sure, they were a couple of newsies, couple of kids... couple of people? He really didn't get it.

Snitch rolled his eyes not knowing that Mush was being serious he thought that he was joking around sense Mush kind of liked to do that a lot. "Pockets is me goil." Snitch smiled at Pockets then he turned his head so that he was facing Mush.

After Mush said this, Pockets bust out laughing, not knowing if he was joking or not. "I'm sorry, I just...nevermind." She looked at the ground.
"Pockets is me goil."
Pockets looked up and smiled back at Snitch. Then she looked at Mush to see what his expression was.

"Well that's great!" he said nodding to them with a smirk. "Congratulations," he said nodding. It was always good to hear about things like this. Given it was rather typical and run of the mill, so really he seemed a bit underwhelmed. Forgive him for the reaction, but hooking up wasn't uncommon. In fact it wasn't too uncommon for people about his age to be married.
