Cole walked down the boardwalk, finding a bench and took a seat, crossing hislegs at the ankle as he leaned back letting his arms rest along back of the bench. taking a breath of the air he sighed and then turned his attention back to the activity on the baordwalk.

Rick ran down the boardwalk listing to the echo of his feet pounding on the the wooden borads. He glanced over his shoulder to see if the cops were still after him, he smirked, they weren't. he jumped up on a post, took out a cigarette, and fiddled around in his pockets for a light. Realizing he had left it at the bar he decided to ask a kid one the bench for one. "Hey kid, yous got a light?"

Singer sat a little way off of two boys who were, obviously not friends, that she knew of, and one had just run off the Bulls it seemed. She looked out onto the scenery keeping absent watch of them in her periphial view as she took out her own cigarette and lit it before discarding the match and taking a long drag and releasing the smoke from her lips airily.

He waited for a response and didn't get one. He kicked a small pebble into the water and watched the small ripples form around it. He turned to the girl, "What abouts yous?" he asked "Yous gots one?" he asked, knowing she probably would.

Singer looked up at the sound of the boys voice, his questions now directed at her,"yeah, I might, what's it to ya?"she asked teasingly out of spite, her British accent slipping up abit. She eyed him in slight interest but not full just summing him up as she waited for a response.

Rick smirked running his fingers through his hair, "Well, I need one, you got one or not?" he asked becoming annoyed with this whole thing. He had had a long day and this girl was not helping at all.

((Ha, sorry I didn't realize you had given me a match already! ) He grabbed the match and struck it on the rail of the boardwalk. Rick took a long drag. "Thanks" he said as he began to cough. He looked out at the deep water. "It's getting late, wont your folks be worried?"

>>>New Day<<<< Manhattan crinkled her nose at the smell of the late noon harbor. Stretching her back she began to walk the boardwalk. No one really knew how she always sold all her papers by noon with enough time to spare to walk here but it never failed. With her hands on her head she meandered the walk hoping for company. Just one of those days that you need people by you to enjoy it.

*New Day*
Sarah Jacobs strolled casually along the boardwalk enjoying the beauty of the afternoon. Today had been a good day. She leaned on one of the wooden posts with her arms folded, looking out over the harbor. It was days like these she really enjoyed life.

Sweets roamed the boardwalk, a stack of papers under her arm that was heavier than it should have been after two hours of selling. She had already covered her other spot over on 5th Avenue, but with little luck there she decided to make her way here to the harbor, the only other place she sold her papers. Spotting a nicely dressed girl across the way Sweets wandered over, attempting to smooth out her shirt and look presentable. With the sun shining off the water she couldn't really make out her customer's face, or she surly would have recognized The Walkin' Mouth's sister. "Buy a pape miss?"

Joe eased off the wall as the two girls approached each other, his hair still wet from a mid day swim and his shirt unbuttoned as he took in the sun. he pinched the burning end of his cigarette out and tucked it behind his ear. He grinned crookedly and sauntered towards them. He nodded his head to them. "Ms. Sweets and Ms Jacobs."
