All sorts of flowers, carrying more than the flower cart can hold, but their prices are a bit higher too, since their a store. But the flowers are fresh and always beautiful.

Peem walked into the flower shop, dusting off his jacket. He really wanted to get some flowers for his mother, but he wasn't sure what type..he'd never really done this for her before. But it was soon to be her 40th birthday...he didn't have much money to get her anything else.

Daisy had been walking down the street when she saw a familiar face walking into the flower shop and she couldn't stop the smile that spread across her lips. Peem. It had been a few days since she'd seen him last, since her confession, and he still made her face flush and just the sight of him. Biting her lip, she ventured inside the store after him, hoping he wouldn't mind the intrusion and wandered over to where he was looking at some of the flowers.
"And what's a handsome lad such as you doing in a fine flower shop?" She asked softly, blue eyes sparkling.

Peem grinned at the sound of Daisy's voice, turning on his heel. "Ach lass...What ye doin' in this part o town?" He laughed and pulled her into his arms, making sure no one was looking before pressing his lips to her cheek quickly, letting her go. "Would ye like some flowers? I'm just buying some for me mum.."

Daisy's cheeks flushed pink at the touch of his lips and she wrapped her arms around him for a brief hug. "You don't have to buy me flowers Peem," Daisy said softly, feeling bold enough to thread her arm through his. "But perhaps I can help you pick some out for your mother."

Peem laughed and shook his head. "ACh me lass, I should buy ye some. Just something other than Daisys..." He winked and looked at some tulips. "I'm not sure what would be good for a birthday, actually." He raised an eyebrow. "Not my speciality.."

"I don't need flowers, love," Daisy said, though her blue eyes sparkled at the prospect. Pulling away slightly she moved to look at some of the brightly colored flowers. "I imagine your mother would like anything you bought her, aye?" Daisy replied, reaching her hand out as though to touch the soft petals. "What of yellow carnations, to march her bright smile?" Daisy picked one up and twirled it between her fingers with a smile of her own. She was fond of Peem's mother, had been from the very first moment she'd met the loving woman who had treated her like her own. She only hoped the woman wouldn't mind Daisy's changed affections for her son.

Peem laughed and shook his head. "You need a lot more than flowers, love. But I can't afford more than flowers." He squeezed her hand lightly. "And you're guess about me mum is as good as mine. I'm a man...I know nuthing about this really." He ran a hand through is shaggy hair, laughing good naturedly. "At least I'm tryin!"

"Aye, you are...and that's all a lass can ask for," Daisy replied, beaming up at him and returning the squeeze on her hand. Part of what enchanted her about Peem was his giving and caring nature, and she was grateful and touched that he'd want to do anything for her at all. "When is your mom's birthday?"

Peem rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "I'm but a lad, Daisy. Ain't nuthin special about me." He laughed lightly. "It's tomorrow love...I've been procrastinatin." He'd frankly been trying to save up money..

She clucked her tongue and touched his cheek gently, catching his eyes with her own. "Aye, but you are special, Peem. At least to me you are." She blushed a little then, dropping her hand and taking interest in the flowers that were in front of them. She played a few fingers over the stem of one of them, looking up cheerfully when Peem spoke again. "Perhaps I'll make her a pie...would she like that, you think?" She hoped it would be alright, she didn't want to impose, to invite herself to a family celebration. "I mean...if that would be alright."

Peem smirked. "Aye a pie sounds grand...and you're like part of the family, Daisy, you know that." He laughed and paid for the flowers, tucking them under his arm. "So stop acting so coy and shy--just because you're..well..I'm your beau doesn't mean you should get so worried." He kissed her cheek again, grinning like a rake.

A wide smile spread across her face at hearing Peem call himself her beau, it warmed her from the inside. "Aye...I suppose part of me is trying to remember that this is all real." She held up her hand to prevent him from cutting her off and then threaded her arm through his as they headed out of the shop. "I know...I know, you are just a lad. Doesn't mean I can't be slightly enamored with you." She smiled then and stood on tiptoe to brush her own kiss against his cheek.

Peem grinned, biting his lip in his own luck. Daisy was a wonderful girl, and he was so lucky to have her in his life. "I know, I know love. So perhaps I should take you lucky lass out for lunch?"

Daisy paused to enjoy the light that shone in Peem's eyes for a moment before nodding her head. "I would like that very much." She wanted nothing more than to spend time with Peem, being around him always made her happy.
