Moon's eyes widened. "Uh...dat's kinda what I came out heah ta talk ta ya 'bout." Glancing up slowly at the ocean, then back down to her sister, she took in a deep breath and let her heart out to her sister, who she knows will love her no matter what, "I was wit' Bear. I haven't told ya 'bout him, but he's a Brooklyn newsie..or well...was." Having a confused look on her face, she shook her head and let her thoughts drift.
"Uhm..well, I ain't gunna be a newsie anymoah, and I ain't gunna live in Queens, I'm stayin' in Brooklyn..and..yoah gunna have a brudda-in-law... Bear asked me ta marry him earlier today." Digging a cigarette out of her mouth, she put it up to her lips and took a long drag, waiting for her sister to answer.

Star raised her eyebrows, "What do ya mean by was?" asked Star. Star looked back at the ocean and the stars and then she looked back at her sister.
"Uhm..well, I ain't gunna be a newsie anymoah, and I ain't gunna live in Queens, I'm stayin' in Brooklyn..and..yoah gunna have a brudda-in-law... Bear asked me ta marry him earlier tod y."
Star widened her eyes and was so surprised by her sisters comment that she fell in the water, to the bottom and didn't come up for a couple of seconds, then she came up and said, "Let me get this, your engaged to a guy that you just reciently meet?" Star treaded water and looked at her sister.

Moon bit her lip to stop from laughing, but that didn't work. When her sister came back up, she finally stopped laughing and answered her sisters question. "Well...ya, I am. But Star, it's like," She paused, "love at first sight. Trust me, when ya meet Bear, yoah gunna love him."

"I see." Starlight smirked at her. Starlight put her hands around her sister's ankle and yanked until her sister was under the water. When he sister was in the water she started laughing like crazy!

As Moon came back up from the water, she glared at her sister threatfully. Putting her forearms on the dock, she took in a deep breath, and let it out. Watching the moon, she smiled, remembering Bear.
"So, when do ya plan on seeing Bear?" Glancing at her sister quickly, she remembered what Bear said about Star babysitting their children, and she had a playful smirk on her face. "Oh, and just so ya know, Bear already hired a babysitter when we have children."

"I don't know, when do you want me to meet him?" Star looked up at the Moon then at Moon and saw a smile on her face. "Are you thinin of your liddle beary?" asked Star in a baby voice. Star swam next to her sister and stood on a rock so that she was her sister's height. "Whose da babysitter?"

She glared at her little sister with a smile on her face. "Ya, I am. But dat doesn't mean ya gotta act like a lil baby." Jumping back up to the dock, Moon started to wring out her shirt and pants, and she took of her socks and boots. As she did this, she mumbled words like 'stupid water' and 'hate swimming sometimes'.
"Oh, ya know. You!" She laughed at herself, and was starting to miss Bear a lot. "I wanna see Bear so bad, I miss him to much. Even though it's 1 in the morning, I bet Brooklyn's still awake." Remembering that her sister still has a crush on Spot, she said, "Star, not ta bring ya down in the dumps, but ya might need a new crush. Sorry, but Spot had Smalls, and they look pretty close. I'm happy for him."

Star nodded and jupped up on the dock after her sister and looked around for her sholace that she tied her hair in and she grabbed it when she saw it, Star put her hair in a messy french braid down her back in ten minutes. "I the babysitter?" asked Star.
"I do not like Spot Conlon!" Star said angryly. "I like someone else said star putting a loose hair behind her ear.

Moon raised her eyebrow with a doubtfull look on her face. She knows her sister has been crushing on Spot Conlon for years, just never let it show. "Ya, ya do, Star. And, if ya don't, which ya do, then who is the otha guy?"

"He's....He's.." Star thought of all of the boys at the Lodging House that she had meet so far and she couldn't think of anyone. "Ok I don't know who I like." Star said sadly.

"Well, maybe it's 'cause ya still like Spot. It's okay to like him, ya know..he's just...taken." She said uneasily, not sure how her sister had taken knowing that Spot was dating Smalls, another Brooklynite.

" I do not like Spot Conlon, why can't ya just get it right?" Star said, with her temper raising, which was a bad thing, both sisters had bad tempers but Star's was well, a little bit badder, and she might end up yelling that she doesn't like Spot Conlon.

Moon shook her head. "Star, I did get it right. If ya don't calm down, then all of New Yawk is gunna heah 'bout yoah little crush. Ya know ya like him, and ya can't change that." Moon was finally done wringing out her clothes, which were still a little damp, but she couldn't care less.
Taking her socks, she started wringing them out, and letting her boots dry, she glanced at her sister and gave her a small smile.

"Moon, i like someone else! OK?" Star crossed her arms and looked at the sky, which reminded he that she won't be able to be with her sister every night and go up on the Queens roof, live what they did every night until now.
"Moon" said Star, changing the subject. "Ya know that lots of things are gonna change when you married ta Bear." Star looked at her sister like she just died.

She nodded her head in complete agreement. "Ya, I know. But ya know ya can visit everyday, and uhm...I gotta question to ask ya." Taking a deep breath, she said, "The Best Man and the Maid Of Honor are the godparents of the first child, and I was wondering if you would like to be the Maid Of Honor in our wedding. I don't know who the Best Man is, but that's Bears decision."
