He shrugged indifferently and headed for the door. "Well I'm shore I'll like this, thanks," He gave a slight head nod and turned, pushing the door open and stepping out into the street.

Tate frowned and let out a groan, "Open my mouth and insert my foot-- good going Potter. And he was very good looking too...." She leaned over the counter to see if she could get his disappearing form before she frowned again. "And I upset him to boot, I'm such a ninny.."
Being Tate she couldn't leave it setting like that so she grabbed a sweet bun from the case and wrapped it. Even though it was raining like cats and dogs she bundled up her offering and ran after the man. "Wait! Sir!"

Jim glanced back, doing a double take as he realized it was himself that was being called. Stopping he turned to face her, looking up at the sky with a slight frown as the rain poured down. "Yeah?"

She handed him the small box with the sweet bun inside, she looked up at the sky and shivered just a little bit as the wind kicked up just a little bit too. "I'm sorry I upset you, but take this as an apology.." She smiled at him, trying to make amends in her own away. "I really didn't mean anything.."

He shrugged, glancing up to the sky himself as some distant thunder cracked. "Nah, I aint upset." He took the apology gift regardless. Tucking his two packages under his arm he nodded his head. "Well thanks, see ya 'round Tate." No, he'd never met her before, but growing up in The Bronx meant there were a few people that needed no introduction, and Tate Potter was one of them.

She smiled, as far as she recalled she hadn't given him her name but she nodded and stepped back. "Yeah, see ya around and take care.." Her attention turned to the sky as it opened up and just let down on the both of them, she shivered, she hadn't grabbed anything and she was soaked to the bone instantly.

(( New Day ))
Magnet was taking Smiley out to eat, and he was very excited, but didn't let it show on his face. Actually getting up to ask a girl if he could get her lunch was a huge step for him, even though he was 17. Sometimes, he got jealous of Thunder and Lightning, because they are so smooth with the ladies.
Glancing sideways at Smiley, he smirked a bit. Wow, she's beautiful, he thought to himself. Magnet isn't letting it show one bit, except for the blushing, but he was really starting to like Smiley.

Smiley's eyes lit up as she told one of her favorite childhood stories. She loved telling stories and her face showed it. She positively glowed and her smile shone. She was actually proving her nickname. She retold the time she had tried to get honey from a beehive when she was seven and got stung many times. She was a very mischevious girl when she was younger, She loved fishing and roaming the forest but at the same time, she had loved more girlish things also like reading and sewing.

Magnet started smiling even more when she explained her story. He was starin at her lips without even knowing, but as he did so, he asked, "Do ya want a cinnamon bun?"

"Sure, I just love cinnamon buns!! My ma used to make da best Cinnamon rolls eva!! We called dem sticky buns and dat was da only thing that could get us kids up in da mornin'." She stopped looking at Magnet's face. "I'm sorry, I'm talkin' too much, ain't I?"

He shook his head. "No, yoah not talkin' to much, yoah talkin' perfectly.." As he noticed what he just said, his eyes widened and his eyesbrows raised. Blushing furiously, he looked at the ground at coughed.
Magnet put a few cents on the counter and said, "Two sticky buns, please." He got them and gave one to Smiley, still blushing.

Smiley sat there, eating her sticky bun thoughtfully. Magnet looked like he came here often. She looked around the bakery and saw a couple girls sitting at a table across from them and pointing at Magnet, giggling and whispering behind their menus peeking over at him every once in a while.
"I guess ya really good at getting girls, huh? I bet ya bring dem heah all da time." She didn't say this in a harsh tone, just thoughtfully. SHe looked over at him waiting for his answer.

He glanced to where she was looking, and saw some girls. He shook his head back at Smiley. "Nah, I don't know why dey want me, everyone says dat goils are startin' ta like me moah den Spot, and dat's kinda creepy. And foah yoah other question, I've nevah brought a goil heah." But I brought you here, don't ya get it? He thought to himself, starting to want those girls to walk away.

Smiley just nodded but looked a little surprise, that wasn't the answer she was expecting at all. She bit her lip staring down at her hands. She looked up at Magnet who was staring at those girls looking frustrated. She blushed a little when he caught her staring at him. She was starting to think he was extremely handsome and smart, and caring. He showed more kindness and love to her than anybody else had ever showed her. What was happening? Was she starting to like him?

The girls were still giggling and spying and staring and pointing at him, and he was getting very mad. He stood up and said, "Hey! I'm having lunch wit' someone," He pointed to Smiley, "Can ya stop starin' and giggin' please?" Then he plopped back down on the seat and said, "Sorry, dey are gettin' really annoyin'. I don't know how Spot can take dis."
