Let me know if any of you have any suggestions or ideas here!Even if it's just for a new board in a borough, just post it here! I can't promise I'll use them all, but I'd love some of your input

I think you should make the Brooklyn brigde in Brooklyn or Manhattan (or both sense its technically in both....just cross over). I always go to the docks thinkin it's the bridge and then I don't post when I find that out, not there anyway. So, yeah, that's my suggestion.

I think you should put like a face claim thread. I was thinking of changing my model person, but i dunno if the person I want to change to is taken or not. It would probably help new members, as well as old, so that we don't have duplicates when people aren't supposed to be twins

I think the amount of time for an officially dead thread should be extended to at least three or four days. For instance I posted last on Friday in a few threads and was planning on continuing them but I ended up not being able to go on the internet this weekend. It was completely unexpected, but people posted NEW in some of the threads I was participating in. I just think 48 hours isn't enough time because unexpected things do come up and I just didn't get a chance to post. I don't know how everyone else feels though so maybe this is just food for thought.

Oh that is a really good idea Celstia! I have a couple ideas, little places that could be added. Maybe like a university or a school of some sort, though that wouldn't be THAT useful to newsies, and maybe rich kids have private tutors but still it might be useful, and maybe we could have a couple professors on the site.
And maybe The Statue of Liberty? hmmm I dunno, or Ellis Island would be cool. There was a cool baseball stadium in Harlem, cept' we don't have Harlem, but we could put it somewhere else I spose. It was called the Polo Grounds. Just throwing out suggestions. ;D

What about an academy for the well to do? Like a private school?
Only problem is girls barely went to school and if they did it was usually not co-ed. But this could be an exception, a sort of 'cutting edge' private school? Or even a boarding school?

That's a great idea. As for the co-ed, a well-to-do school would probably be single-sex. However, boys schools could be affiliated with girls schools, for balls, social events, and the like (even today, all-male schools pair up with all-girls schools in the area to put on plays!) For example, in 1899 Columbia University was an all-male school. It was affiliated with Barnard College, which was an all-female school.
We can just make up two affiliated schools. The students would be educated separately, but they would still have interaction! Cosa pensate? =)

Historical accuracy? Have you SEEN this movie? (We did a vote on making lodging houses co-ed a while ago.
