He lifted a brow and covered her pointed finger with his hand, "Flan, nothing is black and white, dark shades of gray more like. I didn't mean to get you going, and I'm glad you aren't with the Racs anymore. If your not means you are a lot safer, alright?" Being like a sister to Marauder meant a lot to him at least--

Flanna sighed, deflating quickly. "It is..I just..it's been rough, Caleb." She had already said that, but she didn't know how else to put it. She ordered, sipping her beer.

He nodded and ordered his own beer, his own food. "Flan I didn't go away thinking that it would be easy, but it was safer for you if I wasn't here anymore-- Bucky got us into some dark stuff, it wasn't safe for anyone anymore."

Flanna sighed. "Aye, but I feel like everyone stopped asking me what I wanted, just made decisions on their own, thinkin' they know whats right for me." She leaned back, running a hand through her hair.

"And what is right for you, Irish?" he watched her as he took a sip from his own beer. He'd never made a choice for her, it wasn't his place. She could always make her own choices no matter what anyone said.

Flanna sighed, shrugging. "I don't know. To find some open space.." She smiled. "To just have enough money to ride my horse.." She paused. "Razor did do one good thing--gave me his Deamon."

He managed a half smile before it actually grew, "If that makes you happy Flan do whatever you have to in order to keep doing it. Riding that horse, keeping it safe. You protect what you have that special.." About all he had that really mattered at all to him was Flanna.

Flanna smiled back at him. "So does this mean I can get you on him?" She laughed. "Please, I haven't seen you on a horse in years.." Caleb and her horse--two things that never really failed her.

He grinned at her, "That's something you never really forget.. I haven't ridden a horse in years." And it was something he was slowly leaning towards doing. He couldn't fight his smile at all, there was no way he could.

Flanna touched his hand gently and went back to drinking her water. "Well then it's settled. Maybe tomorrow if you aren't busy doing whatever you don't want to tell me about so you keep me safe."

He smirked at her, "Tomorrow would be fine, nothing has started yet just keeping an ear to the road--" keeping his eyes and ears open for things, he knew Flanna would warn some people if she knew them and that was alright, he'd get a hold of Dodger and if he didn't-- Corsair would

Flanna smiled. "Well good." She squeezed his hand, moving as the food came, digging in. She'd find Sam and give him a warning, knowing the other man wouldn't be too happy about it. But she, oh she was right glad Caleb was in town. He was her best friend.

He knew her well enough and turned to his food, he'd search out Sneaks and see if the man was still lurking. he knew everything their was to know if you could understand his double talk. "When things start up though, Irish. I'll do what I can to keep you safe but you know--" She'd be on her own, he really would do what he could but she would have to fight her own battles. He knew she was more than capable of it.

Flanna rolled her eyes. "I know, I know. I'll get my hair lopped off again, and lose my hand this time." She was only half kidding. "I'll take care of myself, Caleb."

He nodded, "Please do, Irish." For his piece of mind, he knew she was more than capable of taking care of herself and she'd been threw plenty without him around. But-- well he would do his best to keep the heat off of and away from her.
