Matchstick ran into the room expecting to be late.... Where is everyone? he thought to himself, as he sat down on a seat. Hopefully someone else would come soon.... He was already feeling starting feel lonely. Matchstick isn't very good with entertaining himself, unless fire is involved of course. After about 5 minutes (Which felt like 5 hours to Matchstick) someone walked in the door, "Finally!" He said out loud.

"Eh, keep ya shirt on," Styx muttered calmly. He was here for a reason and it looked like none of those reasons were here yet. "You're a Queens newsie, yeah? I think I remember seeing you around the LH..." The kid went by "fire"...something... Anyway, "You know where Prince is?" He really needed to hear her plan, any plan, even if it was only half formed.

Sonkai sighed as a couple of boys appeared in the main area, where some sort of meeting was being held. Medda had asked her to keep an eye out for arrivals and to offer them drinks as they came in. As much as she loathed waiting on people she would do it because Medda had asked her and she loved that woman like a second mother. Walking into the room she studied them both for a moment before speaking, "Excuse me, could I get either of you a drink?"

"You know where Prince is?"
Matchstick shook his head at Styx question, "Nah, we're da only two who has made it" Then a woman walked up to them,
"Excuse me, could I get either of you a drink?"
Matchstick looked at Styx, saying if you have one I'll have one. He didnt need one but he might as well to be polite.

Half Pint quietly made his way into the room, stopping in the doorway and looking around for some place to sit, hoping no one noticed him walking in alone. He had walked here on his own, because no one had been around to take him, so technically it wasn't his fault.
Half Pint scanned the room and saw two newsies already sitting. Oh no, it was Matchstick and Styx from Queens. If they saw him, they were sure to yell at him for being alone. So, he quietly tip-toed in the room. He had almost made it to a seat just behind them, when he stepped on one of his laces and tripped making a lot of noise. "oh man." He winced. They were sure to hear that. Maybe if he stayed on the floor for a few minutes, they wouldn't see him.

Street hurried into the room, taking a seat in the back and sinking down low. She had come with Moscow, who sat next to her. Street was tired, and did not want to be there, but it was important, and she had come-breakfast or not. I hope this is over soon, She thought.

Flip walked in the door holding Mittens hand, he knew what people where thinking. Mittens and him are like brother and sister, although they aren't related in the slightest. When he was told he had to be with someone else at all times he automatically thought, Mittens. And yes, they are so close that the hold each others hands like this, other people might think its weird, and some people still think they have a relationship. They know everything there is to know about each other. Mittens and Flip Chance both went their separate ways at about the same time, although Flip got kicked out of Brooks when Mittens decided to leave. It was close enough.

Peaches stood in a corner in the front of the room watching the Newsies slowly trickle in. She had heard from Medda that they were holding some meeting so she had offered to help Sonkai wait on all the kids. There were going to be a lot of newsies coming so Sonkai wasn't going to be able to do it herself.
Peaches saw a couple kids come in the back, a boy in a top hat holding a girls hand and a blond girl with a younger boy with brown hair. She walked up to them and asked in her southern accent, "Can I get anyone a refreshment?"

"Excuse me, could I get either of you a drink?"
Styx looked over at the girl and grinned. It'd been too long since he'd had a proper drink. He wondered for a moment if she'd serve him alcohol at a Newsie meeting, but decided he'd risk it."I'll have a Negroni," he stated, knowing he had enough change for it.
Styx watched people arrive, taking particular interest in a little kid cowering on the ground and looking terrified. He stood up to get a closer look and realized it was another Queens kid. "You alright there, cub?"

Sonkai nodded as the boy asked for a Negroni and then glanced at the other boy who hadn't said anything. Her face clearly showed her impatience. She wasn't going to stand her much longer waiting for him to decide whether or not he wanted a drink. Pushing her hair back she tapped her foot, "Well...do you want something?"

Dewey glanced around the room as he ambled in, looking disgruntled at the fact that he had to be there so early. He wanted as much as the next guy to get this thing resolved but he wasn't entirely sure he really wanted to hear people banter on about it for any extended period of time. He'd come most of the way with some little girl who said she knew one of the missing kids. But the girl, who'd introduced herself as Rhonda or something like that had dejectedly excused herself about halfway when she realized that the trip to the meeting place alone was long enough to make her so late for work that she'd probably be fired on the spot when she finally arrived if she didn't turn back. So, he had walked the rest of the way alone. He didn't see why it was such a big deal for him seeing as he was neither a girl nor a kid but, nevertheless, he didn't want to get any flack for it from any of the older kids so he began scanning the room for anyone else who seemed to be alone. Only moments later he hit pay dirt when he heard a thump a few feet away which he promptly identified as a kid falling to the ground near a row of seats. He began to make his way over to the kid but before he reached the kid, a boy in the row ahead noticed him as well and asked if he was alright. Dewey picked up his speed slightly and reached the kid in a matter of seconds. “There ya are, kid. I told ya not ta get too far ahead a’ me, ya’ too damn short. I can’t see ya.” He called out; giving him a small wink and a look that clearly said ‘Just go along with it’.

Snoddy entered the hall and took a seat near the back, politely waving off the girls milling about, offering the newsies refreshments. A few rows forward, he saw a familiar blond head slowly rising up over the seats as the kid clambered up from the floor.
"Pst!" Snoddy hissed, grinning at the kid. "Heya, Half Pint! You walk all the way to Manhattan on your own?"

Moscow sat in his seat beside the blonde girl, Street. She had accosted him on his way here and made him be her 'partner for safety' as she had put it. Moscow had shrugged at her, he didn't mind.
"Can I get anyone a refreshment?" A waitress asked. Moscow looked at her.
"Vell, can I haff something that is not to strong? I am not use to vat the New Yorkers drink yet," Moscow said, smiling softly. "Thank you, Miss."

"You alright, cub?"
Half Pint nervously looked up at Styx from his spot on the floor and shook his head.
“There ya are, kid. I told ya not ta get too far ahead a’ me, ya’ too damn short. I can’t see ya.”
Half Pint looked up at the other kid confused, then saw him wink, "Uh, yeah. Sorry." He slowly stood up and examined his knees and hands. He had skinned his knee and cut his right hand when he tripped. Man, must've fallen harder than I thought. He wiped the blood off his knee with his left hand and then wiped both hands on his shorts. Couldn't make his pants any dirtier.
"Heya, Half Pint! You walk all the way to Manhattan on your own?"
Half Pint looked towards the back to where the voice was coming from and spotted Snoddy. He smiled at him, gestured for the other kid to follow him noticing he was alone, and walked towards Snoddy. "S'not my fault, Snoddy. Stupid big kids, no one was around ta bring me. What was I supposed to do?"
