Sneaks looked up casually as the kid came in cussing, taking another drag off his cigarette. "Looks like your cards are ruined, kid." He smirked, pulling out his own cards, wrapped in brown butchers paper. "Shoulda taken better care of dem...dey deserved betta."

Rick sat up and squinted, he hadn't noticed the boy sitting there "Yeah I guess so" he said Lighting up a cigarette and blowing a perfect smoke ring, he hadn't expected it to light, being wet and all.

Sneaks chuckled and unwrapped his cards, starting to shuffle, his complicated but languid motions looking effortless. "Never seen you around, kid. You new here?" He usually wasn't one for talking, but there wasn't much else to do at the moment.

"Ah, I go where I want, when I want kinda a drifter if you will," Rick wasn't particularly one for talking either but he felt he was going to weather he wanted to or not.

Sneaks shrugged. "Fair enough." He nodded. "Poker?" He gestured to the cards in his hands casually.

"Suer," Rick said, he never passed up a chance to play a good game, "Ya any good?" he asked, though he was sure he'd win he could be quite cocky at times, especially when it came to cards .

Sneaks snorted, rolling his eyes. "Bested by few, but the best to many...I'm better than you could imagine." He spoke facts, tactics. He was never one for boasting, just knowing who he was. He shuffled the cards, dealing them out.

Rick smirked, "well see about that" . He watched the boy place the cards down in front of him. Rick took a long drag on his cigarette.

Sneaks smirked. "Aye." He took a long drag and led up his cards. "Five card draw." He tossed two cards out, taking two from the pack, watching this other guy with even eyes.

Sneaks laughed. "Right." He finally placed his cards down--a full house. It was a hard hand to beat, and she was watching to see if Rick would cheat.

Rick considered cheating, he always kept an extra ace in his shoe...but no, he wouldn't he lay down his well, not so great hand and shrugged, "So, looks like you got me? he said with a half smile. (Ok, so I know nothing about pocker...

::New::
Azzo sat, leaning back in an old wooden chair in one of the upper rooms, reading a newspaper. This particular paper he found to be very interesting. It wasn't everyday one could see their picture in the pape with the words 'ESCAPED CRIMINAL! Known to be violent and carrying weapon. Report any information to the police...' printed underneath.
When he'd heard the newsgirl yelling out in the street, he all ready knew it was about him. The look on her face when she realized he was the one she was reading about was priceless. Azzo smirked a little thinking about it, but the frown quickly returned to his face.
He read the words over and over again. 'Violent...Criminal...Carrying Weapon'. It was a shame how stories could get so twisted.

Ghost sprinted down the street, hearing the whistles not far behind. If he was caught, he would be in more than just a little trouble. The eleven year old wasn't a criminal by any means, but sales hadn't been so good lately, and he had been so hungry... surely the vendor wouldn't have missed just one peach.
Turns out, he would miss it. Very much, too, if he was willing to call the police. Looking for an open doorway, he threw himself into what seemed to be an abandoned building and pressed his back against the wall, chest heaving. Just let them walk by... let them walk by...
To his surprise, the police continued on their way, whistles heard far above the usual noise on the street. When they were out of earshot the eleven year old let out a breath and looked at the fruit, allowing himself to let out a quiet cheer before taking a bite.

Azzo's stomach fell a little when he heard the police whistles growing louder every second. He threw the paper down and stood, running over to one of the upper windows. When he saw the police pass the building his stomach settled. He heard a small noise below, but shrugged it off, deciding it was probably just a mouse.
