with a smile jade walked into the house and raised an eyebrow in question to dannys 'experiment' in the kitchen.
"Heya reeves!" jade said and her eyes landed on darry and she smirked.
"Studying I'se see huh Darry!" jade said and sat down on floor with her legs crossed and looked at reeves as he joined them.
"Hows it rollin reeves?"

Darry nodded and smiled, they all knew he just couldn't stand not to study. He took breaks often, but very briefly. His education was very important to him, but whenever Jade was over, he had to admit, for once, education was second in mind.
They heard some pots and pans fall out of the pantry, one hitting Danny on the head. Danny scowled at the pan now on the floor, rubbing his head. Reeves just laughed, earning him a scowl too.
Reeves grinned at Jade. "Oh, S' okay. Finished my deliveries early today. Wha' bout you? How was selling?"

jade laughed at dannys expression, and just laughed harder when danny scowled at her.
Jade frowned at the thought at sellin.
"Eh it stuck! some hoity toity pushed me and half of my papes landed in a puddle!"
she stared at reeves for a second then a smiled slowly graced her features.
"Sooooooooo reeves, how is dis catherine girl?"
she said with an half innocent look.
(So awesome how you too got couple of the month.!)

Reeves nodded, "Eh, there will be better days Jade. They can't just push us around like that...don't worry, darlin'. Tomorrow at work, I'll drop some hatboxes in a puddle along the way, I'll "accidently" bump into somebody and land them in a puddle, see how they likes it." He smirked and gave her a wink. Darry frowned upon that and Reeves gave him a stubborn look that said, "I'm only kidding..."
At the mention of Catherine, Reeves' face reddened a little and Darry watched his brother with an interested eyebrow raised. Danny stopped all movement from the kitchen to listen. Reeves had never talked about Catherine in front of any of his family before. If they knew how close to being thrown in jail or killed a couple of times by Catherine's brother, Alice would sure not like that.
"She's doing alright, they ain't sending her to a boarding school in Connecticut like they wanted to before. She was happy to see me again. Every time we see each other it seems like its been ages. Her father still don't like me too much, neither does her brother. But the Gov'ner said it was Catherine's decision. I haven't seen her since then though."

Jade smiled always happy for reeves, she sunded like a good person by how reeves described her.
jade the society problems between richies and people of their status, she would always help them if they needed it.
she stood up, curious as to what danny was up to.
as she walked towards the kitchen she turned around and smiled at darry.
"Danny what in the world are you doing in there???"

Danny poked his head out of the kitchen, a flour smudge on his face. "I'm making something! It's a surprise!"
Reeves mumbled, "More like a fail.." Most of Danny's cooking turned out a little queer...

jad rolled her eyes and turned on heel annd sat down next to darry and looked at the massive piles of books next to him.
'Heavy duty reading...' jade said and smiled at him.
"Whatcha learnin this time darry?"

"Biology," Darry grinned, showing her a diagram of a frog. He found it interesting, though he thought maybe he liked Geography a little better, he wasn't much about learning anatomies.

Reeves plopped back on the couch, picking up Darry's essay and yawning lazily, eventually not caring about finishing the report and flopping it on the table, pulling out a newspaper instead and like usual, read one article before falling asleep, the newspaper covering his face.
A few more bangs and clanks came from the kitchen, but Danny still wasn't done with his experiment. Darry scratched his head at the question, smiling as he thought.
"Hmmm, I think I like learning geography the best, learning about other places, what they're like."

Jade smiled and looked over at reeves, and playfully flicked the newspaper.
"Nothing good today..." jade mumbled to reeves, nodding towards the paper, as if he can see her.
Jade then nodded at Darry's response and gave him a smile.
"Did I disturb you from studying, sorry.." jade said and blushed slightly.

Darry looked at his little brother and snorted, "I swear that kid thinks he's king of the couch." If Reeves was home, check the couch, he was probably sleeping, usually. He checked his watch, wondering when Alice was home, hoping she would get home and cook an actually supper, he had a feeling Danny's "surprise" wasn't going to appeal to his taste. Alice was good at taking care of the three boys. Reeves and Danny being the hardest to take care of. Danny was always on the go, while Reeves was always tired and stubborn, and usually kept most important things to himself.
Darry smiled at Jade sincerely and shook his head, "I'm tired of studying today to tell you the truth, Jade. You stayin' for supper?"

jade shrugged, and lightly kicked reeves.
"If Alice needs help with dinner, my mother did teach me how to cook somewhat."
Jade smiled at darry and bumped her shoulder against his.
"Danny You almost done with the 'suprise', and one question, does it have a pulse?"
Jade said half curious and half wondering if alice would flip out more because of the mess or because of what it actually is.

Reeves only grunted and rolled over, snuggling into the pillow and moving an arm across his face instead of the newspaper. Darry smiled at Jade, "Well, she should be home soon, she'd probably like that. But she might have brought home some leftovers from the bakery. Not sure, sometimes she cooks a proper supper anyways, you know how Alice is."
Danny poked his head out of the kitchen and called, "Almost done, and no it doesn't have a pulse!" He went back to the stove to flip his pancakes. He took them off the stove and set them on the table, smothering them with butter and sugar, since they couldn't affored syrup. He grinned and called, "All done!"

Jade stood up and turned around and looked at Darry. "If I dont come back,tell alice she was like a sista to me." Jade said half joking, who knows what Danny has made.
"Danny what did yo-." Jade cut herself off, she looked around wondering how some of the ingredients got on the ceiling, then her eyes rested on the table, a pile of pancakes and a happy danny sat.
"Danny thats sweet, what youve done to help alice."
Jade walked over and hugged him.
"Guys! It's not gonna kill us, get in here!"
