[perch]

Perch rolled her eyes at his comment. "didn we already go through dis? i told ya i didnt know" she shook her head. "quite a memory you got on ya" she smiled to left him know that she was only teasing. "but yeah, i think i do, and since you said it first - what's it to you?"

He smiled brightly at her, with his teeth in a weird position, which made him look very funny. He laughed at himself. "Well, technically, I do not know."

[perch]

"me either" she replied quietly before looking at him. "what do you think it means to you?" or ya know.. maybe wish..

[mark]

His face reddened at this. "Well, uh..obviously, your attracted to someone, and so am I, but we aren't with anyone at the moment..and.." Mark noticed he was just babbling along, and he looked at the sand.

[perch]

Perch pushed herself up till she was supported on her arms. She had been looking at him as he spoke but she immediately looked away as a blush overtook her cheeks. "yeah.." she muttered.

When she blushed, he smiled. Taking his index finger and middle finger, he put it under her chin and lifted her face to look at him. "Chin up." Was all he said, and he smiled, but his face was as red as a tomato.

[perch]

She smiled at him but pulled away from his hand gently so she could look back away. "I try" she said as looked away for a second before looking back shyly.

He brought his hand back to his chest, but there was a question that he has been asking himself over and over again. Who is this guy she is attracted too? Was the question. Taking in a deep breath, he got the courage to ask her, "Who is the guy your attracted too?"

[perch]

Perch pushed herself up a little more and then flipped herself over, propping herself up on her elbows. She grinned at him and said "i'll tell you if you tell me first" in a teasing tone.

Mark raised an eyebrow at her and smiled at her. His face turned a deep shade of red, but he decided he should come out with it sometime. He turned on his back and looked up at the sky. "You..." He said, his face got even redder, and didn't take his eyes off the sky.

[perch]

She blushed a little though she had suspected as much, it was still a shock to her. She collected herself after a moment and leaned down a little closer to him and smiled, hoping that he hadnt gotten the wrong idea from her silence. "i like ya too."

When she leaned forward, he smiled back up at her. "Really? That's great!" Mark was practically jumping for joy on the inside, but stayed come on the out.

[perch]

Perch nodded and then laughed a little. "yeah..." she trailed off a little as thoughts of her past crashed down on her. Suddenly she was unsure of what was happening and as confusion swept over her a crease formed on her forehead. she pulled herself up into a sitting position and crossed her legs.

Mark sat up as well and gave her a look of confusion. "What's wrong?"

Startled back to the present she looked up her eyes wide. Her mouth opened but no sound came out. She pushed off the ground until she was standing. "i have to go." she said quickly and turned away from him. "i'm really sorry" she said as she stood there. She started walking away and her pace increased quickly.
