"Well for breakfast we have eggs and sausage for five cents, you can decide how you want your egg cooked. We also have a very nice blueberry pancake with syrup and creamy butter for four cents." Robbie stopped there, he decided to mention what he thought would be the really good stuff before he started to recall the lunch and dinner specials.

((New Day...if it isnt...im sorry))
John hadn't seen any paitents in a long time, so it made his way over to Manhattan. He had heard of a nice little place to eat called Tibby's, so he decided to give it a shot. He walked in in his suit and tie, with his long white coat hanging off of one arm and a big black bag in the other.
He found a window booth and sat down. He looked at the menu and nodded. When the waitor came up he asked the waitor what was the speical today.
"Cobb salad and split pea soup, sir." Johnm smirked a bit. He love split pea soup, and cobb salad wasn't bad either. "Ok, I'll have that." he said closing the menu.
"Anyhting to drink sir?" "Oh, a coffee and an iced tea please"
As the waitor walked away, John looked at all the people walkinbg around out side. He missed New Jersey, very much, where he knew everyone. Here, he knew no one.

<New Day> Daisy entered Tibby's and moved towards the window table, settling in the chair and pulling out one of her well loved books. The edges were worn but she didn't even notice as she leafed through the pages. Pausing for a moment she glanced out the window at the passing afternoon crowd. She had to figure out what she was going to do about Momma...what she was going to do once Momma was gone.

Robbie was busy today, a bit busier than usual. He had customers in the back and now another at the window table. He quickly took the orders of the patrons in the back, then made his way towards the window table. "Hello and welcome to Tibbys!"

Daisy looked away from the window and up at the waiter, smiling faintly. "Thanks. You have any good recommendations for lunch?"

Robbie smiled one of his best smiles, "Well I'm glad you asked miss, today for lunch Tibby's is proud to serve up a lovely clam chowder soup with crackers. Or perhaps you would prefer to have the turkey and ham sandwhich on wheat bread." Robbie was good at memorizing things, he wanted to an actor so he had better be good at it!

"The clam chowder sounds perfect," Daisy replied with another smile.

Robbie scribbled it down on his notepad, then set it back into his pocket, "Very good choice miss. Would you like some sort of beverage to go along with your order?"

"Coffee?" Daisy asked hopefully. She'd had a long night at the pub the night before and an early morning...a very early morning.

Sweets walked into Tibby's, her eyes immediately searching for a familiar face. Finding none she sighed, slipping down into a chair by the window. Ever since she got back from the refuge she'd been unable to find most of her friends, granted she knew Jack had left, but where was everyone else? She lifted herself up enough to reach in her pocket, making sure she had enough to pay for a meal.

Daisy looked up when the young girl plopped down into a seat not to far away from her. She seemed tired and every bit as worn as Daisy felt. When they made eye contact, Daisy nodded and smiled at her. "Hello."

Sweets grinned, and desperate for some kind of social interaction she took the hello to mean 'please, come join me'. She got up and move away from her table, somewhat cautiously sitting in the one across from the girl. "Hiya, is uh, anyone sittin' heah?"

Daisy looked up in surprise when the girl moved to sit in the seat across from her. But there was something about the way the girl looked at her that Daisy recognized. She was looking for human contact. "No...not at all," Daisy replied, closing her book and putting it away, smiling at the girl. "I'm Daisy."
