Chaos could no longer contain her laughter. While sniggering she asked, "Why are you mmad at him? It doesn't seem rright to be mad at him for nothing."

"Oh, I'm not mad at him for nothing. I'm mad at him for stealing my lunch money." Digit growled, glaring at the now hopping monkey. "And I'm hungry."

"Do you want to wait for him to come down or do you want lunch? I'd bbe willin to pay for your lunch today if you pay for mine on a day when I'm down on my luck." She smiled inwardly. Digit seemed nice enough, but in the world today, you couldn't be sure.

Digit's eyes lit up. "That's it! i know how to get him down!" she leapt to her feet and began walking away. "C'mon Chaos. Let's go get some lunch." she walked away, and before she got ten feet away, the monkey came barreling down the tree and leapt onto the girl's shoulder. He handed out the dime and chattered.

Chaos giggled some more. "That was funny. I suppose we still could go get some lunch even though you have your money back."

"I don't really know any good places. Ddo you?" Chaos hoped she did, because if she didn't they'd have to go to the lodging house to eat.

<<new day>>
Maggie was walking about Brooklyn, taking a seat in the Gazebo. She was horribly lost, but she wasn't really worried. She figured she could just take a break and then hope someone came around that she could ask. Things were so much more stuck together htan she was used to. She was used to wide open spaces...New York made her feel claustraphobic.

~New Day~
Angel sauntered through the park aimlessly with a small black bag hanging over her shoulder. She lifted the collar of her black jacket a little higher to shield the wind. She sat at the bench inside the gazebo, leaning her had against the back.
'Looks like I'll be sleepin here tonight,' she thought. 'At least there's a good view.'

Blake walked up raising his brow. "no place to sleep?"he asked, he had over heard her last comments to herself. "No money?'he asked casually.

She looked him up and down, sizing him up a bit. It was just a normal precaution that she took with everyone. "Angel."

He smirked slighlty. "Mm.."he nodded and then crossed his arms watching her a moment. "You a newsie?'he asked, he knew some that didnt stay at the lodging houses so maybe she was one of them.

She shook her head. "No. I sell every once in a great while, though--when I really need to." She looked his clothes over. He didn't look like he was a newsie. He didn't have any papers in his hands and he wasn't real bummy lookin. From what she saw most if not all newsies were busted. She shruuged at her own thoughts. "I wouldn't think you are...are you?"
