"Relatively new," Drama acknowledged, taking another long drag off her cigarette. "I'm a performer at Caprice Hall...only been in town about a couple weeks."

Peem smiled. "Oh! Then you must know Ms. LeFleur..nicer woman I never have met." He chuckled, his scottish brough coming out a bit.

[drama]

"Aria has made me feel very much at home. Helped me find an apartment near the Hall and everything," Drama said, finding herself charmed by Peem in spite of herself. "You're a newsie I take it?"

[peem]

Peem nodded. "..aye. Work in Bronx n' all...live with me mum and me little brother." He laughed a bit. "And occasionally two of my friends drop in..its a big tumble of mess..with me mum tryin ta keep us all lads in line" He shrugged. "Though I'm sure I've told ya too much..I tend to just speak without rememberin sometimes people would rather not here me.." He winked.

"You keep speaking in that charming accent, you can talk all you like," Drama commented, amused. She was still amazed at the mix of people that had found their way into the New York melting pot. "Have you ever been to Caprice Hall?"

Peem nodded. "A few times...but I've never seen you perform." He smirked. "...I definitely would remember you."

[drama]

"Well perhaps you should stop by again," Drama suggested playfully, extinguishing her cigarette. "I'd keep my eye out for you."

[peem]

Peem chuckled. "Ach...you wouldn't have to do me that favour, lass..I'd rather just be lucky enough to get to see a pretty lass like you on stage. No more, no less." He was having a good time. At least she wasn't snapping at him like that Smalls girl did.

"It would be no favor," Drama said, winking at him. "It would be my pleasure."

[peem]

Peem raised and eyebrow, chuckling. "Now now..flirten with a man you barely know...dontcha think you might be on a wee bit of dangerous ground now, love?"

[drama]

"Oh I can take care of myself, Peem," Drama insisted. "Been doing it for a long time now. Besides, I'm not the only one flirting with someone they barely know," She pointed out, smirking at him slightly.

[peem]

Peem chuckled and put his hands up. "Now now...I'm simply being nice to a lass...its just my culture...don't mean for it to be construde as flirtin'." He grinned. "And I'm sure you can take care of yourself."

[drama]

"Duly noted," Drama commented with a nod, leaning back and studying him. "How long have you been in New York?"

[peem]

Peem grinned. "Since I was about five...I was born in Scotland..me brother was born here." He leaned back a bit. "...so I consider myself Scottish first and foremost...but I don't mind bein' American from time to time." He chuckled. "How about you, Drama?"

[drama]

Drama's eyes narrowed slightly and she shifted on the bench. "Been in New York a couple weeks. Before that? Just here and there. I'm from no place in particular."
