Kissing her on the forehead, the tip of the nose, and finally the lips, Razor nodded. "Be careful, love." He ran his fingers through her hair and kissed her again.

Flanna smiled. "I loveyou, fiancee.." She winked and headed off.

Razor watched her leave with a smile on his face. "I love you too, Flanna."

*New Day* Buck led the stallion into the ring, looking back to make sure Jennifer was still on him. "Alright, first... we'll just walk around so you can get used to him." He told her, patting Never's neck.

Jennifer did as she was told, trying to keep the giddy feeling of being on a horse down to a semi-minimum. Her messily made ponytail was annoying her, so she reached back and pulled her hair free so that it fell down her back. A small, soft smile touched her lips and she ran her hand down Never's neck, eyes straying over to Buck. It might have been the fact he wasn't from New York, but in her mind, there wasn't anyone like him.
When they got to the training circle, she bit her lower lip, nodding when he spoke to her. "Okay.'

Buck looked up at her, a grin stretching across his face as her hair fell loose. "Ok, to turn left, you pull back your left arm, and to turn right you pull back your right. If you do it at the same time, he'll stop." He paused for a little to let that sink in. "If you kick or squeeze with you leg below the knee, he'll go faster... if you do it too long or too hard, he'll go really fast." With that, Buck let go of Never and walked to the center. "You're fine, he's smooth, so just stay center." He waited a little, letting him get used to her. The real reason he had choose Never was because Never was very fit; strong enough to hold two people at the canter. His smile grew as he thought about that.

Jennifer turned her head so that her hair fell over her shoulder, turning Never around easily, getting used to the fact she was on something moving. For someone who'd never been on a horse she was doing pretty well. The thoughts of falling had all but left her mind; she could feel the muscles of the horse underneath her, the power. It awed her, humbled her, and made her grin like a little girl again.
She didn't even have the words to thank him for letting her do this. They just wouldn't come. The most she could do was look over at him and meet his eyes, that small, soft smile drifting across her face.

Buck smiled, "You're doing good, he's got a gentle mouth, so the slightest touch will turn and move him... when you see that in a horse, it means they've been treated with a kind, gentle hand." He started to explain. "Which also means he'll respond to a light squeeze, so be sure not to do that." He told her with a grin, as if it were obvious. "Also, not to bring up anything bad, but, if you do fall all that's gonna happen is you'll get a little dirty, and Never will either keep walking or trotting straight, or will just stop." He told her, trying to ease of tension.
"Try trotting him, then we'll try a nice canter." He emphasized the word 'we'll', a little unintentional, but he didn't feel bad at all about doing it.

"That's good." Jennifer said softly, rubbing Never's neck a bit. "It's not rare that I'll pass by places and see horses being mistreated. Specially around here...with the races and all." She looked over at him and chuckled. "Well, that takes some of the fear away." It actually did, though. Because she felt a lot safer with Buck around than she would have on a horse by herself. Which was why she didn't even hesitate before giving Never a light squeeze with her legs.

Buck smiled, "Well, this guy is new... and believe me, I'll make sure his isn't mistreated." He stayed in the center watching the girl and horse ride around him. The sun was somewhere between the higest point in the sky, and the horizon... and when he looked at it, Jennifer's body would pass through it, penetrating the light... beautiful. That was the only way he could describe her... uh, it.

Jennifer smiled back at him. "Then who can ask for more than that?" She turned her head so her hair went back over her shoulder as she rode around him, some bangs falling over her eyes. It was hard to concentrate on one thing...and there were a few things that were catching her eye. She bit her lip a bit as she turned Never, slowing him down as she did so, until she was next to Buck.
"Hey, Buck?" She said softly, looking down at him.

Buck was watching her on the horse, a half cocked smile on his face. He stood up straighter as she walked towards him. It was a reaction that had bore itself into his mind; to stand straight when being adressed. She stopped near him, and looked at him. He listened to her soft words. "Yes?" He said, and asked, wondering what she might say.

Jennifer smiled, eyes glittering as she kissed Never's neck gently. "Come on and show me how you fly. Please?" She couldn't help it. She wouldn't try anything like running without him beside her. And she wanted to run. She wanted to face the wind and laugh.

Buck smiled, "Ok, let's fly." He told her with a large grin. "Take you're feet out of the stirrups, and scoot either forwards and backwards, giving me enough space to sit." He told her. Once he waited for her to do so, he put a foot in the stirrup and gracefully eased himself onto Never's back. Slowly he walked Never around, letting the horse get used to the two riders. "Keep right against me, so as too keep the weight around the same area." He grined, "When you're ready, say so." He continued walking.

Jennifer was smaller, she scooted herself forward. Which also meant she could keep closer, so, as he said, the weight was balanced properly. Licking her suddenly dry lips, she nodded her head. "All right...I'm ready."
