Raising a hand to his face, mock sobbing, he wiped away an invisable tear. "Goodbye dear jacket, you were like a friend to me. Kept me warm when I was cold... held me tightly to keep away the frost bite..."

Rose laughed, holding her side in pain as she did so, "Well if you're that attached to it... Nah I'll still have to keep it," she said grinning.

Blink reached out a hand for the jacket, somehow able to keep his facade up and not laugh. Somehow. "Nuuuuuuuu."

Rose shrugged, trying very hard to keep a straight face, "Sorry."
She reached down for the glass of water, nearly tumbling off the bed as she did so.

"You know." Picking up the glass of water, Blink handed it to her. "Staying on the bed might be productive to a non-injured lifestyle, Graceful." His lips quirked up into a grin.

Rose smirked, "Ya know, it's a lot harder than it looks."
"Thanks," she took the glass of water, taking a sip, hoping it would calm the not-quite coughing.

"Oh. Trust me, I know." He brushed his hand along the eye patch with a knowing smirk. "I've heard it a lot...only about fighting." He had a problem with that, at times.

"Ya know, fighting ain't good," Rose grinned.
Her teeth began to chatter, and she curled herself into an even tighter ball.

He frowned, leaning over to check her forehead again. "You know...."

"Well as long as you gots good reasoning," Rose smirked.
She blinked at the sudden hand movement toward her forehead. Her expression dropped, "What?"

Hawkeye rolled her eyes, "You know, I think I'm going to throw up if you two continue with this," and there came that terrific mood again. She eyed her cards, "Are we going to play or what? 'Cause if I have to continue listening to you, I will find some way to get out of here and make it look like you forced me out." She sent them both a "look," arching her eyebrows and glaring.

Rose kept her gaze on Blink's expression as he felt her forehead, waiting for him to say something.
She let out a sigh as Hawkeye's grouchy mood returned, "Alright," she paused attempting to take a sip of her water, "Let's play."

Racetrack burst though the doors of the bunk room, Arianette's heavy bag in his hand. Glancing back over his shoulder for her he couldn't help but grin slightly at how great it all had worked out. Walking over to Rose her dropped her coins in her lap. "Didn' need it, she's gonna take care o' Hawk heah for free, can you believe dat?" His grin faltered slightly at the cards. "You playin' without me?"

Rose smiled at Race's return, "That's great," she dropped the coins back into her pocket. Rose began to fidget, hoping to be able to sneak up to the roof before the doctor came in. Didn't need to go worrying more people.
"Well, we haven't started yet. You can take my spot if ya want," she said, which conveniently enough gave her a reason to disappear before she had a coughing attack in front of all of them.
Rose realized that Blink was still taking her temperature. She lifted her hand up to his, slowly bringing his hand away from her forehead. That's one way to make them suspect something's wrong, she thought to herself, sighing afterward.

Hawkeye looked to the door as Racetrack entered, eying the bag skeptically, not quite sure what this "doctor" planned on doing to "help."
She glanced to Blink at the mention of the card game, muttering, "I told you he'd be upset," she looked up at Race, "We would've already started if it weren't for some people," she kindly took this moment to stare pointedly at Rose and Blink. That's when she noticed the uneasy look on Rose's face. She figured it could've been due to anything, so she didn't press the matter, but she did raise an eyebrow, curious as to what was going on.
