Aria stepped into the room, rubbing her belly a bit as the baby kicked, looking between the two girls. "...which one of you is sick?" She glanced between them. "...or are both of you sick?"

Rose stood up, slipping past Race and Blink as she made her way for the stairs to the roof. She gave the girl a smile, trying to make her exit look some what normal and not suspicious.
She looked over toward Blink and Hawkeye, half expecting one of them to say something and hoping that they didn't.

Race had kept his eyes subtly on Rose, something about her feeling off. At Aria's question he looked around at the other two then back at the girl, raising an eyebrow and quietly following her to the stairs. Casually he slipped his arm through hers he tugged her back to the group. "I think you bettah take a look at both of 'em.."

Aria raised an eyebrow and took out her themometer, gesturing to Race. "...Umm.." She looked between the girls, smiling. "Can I have your names, chers?" She stood patiently. The girls weren't going to go anywhere.

Before Rose knew it she was being dragged back over, "Don't I have any say in this? Besides, no need wasting her time checking out someone who ain't sick."
She shrugged, waiting for Race to let go of her so she could slip away.
"Very stubborn," Rose mumbled upon hearing the girl ask for their names.

Hawkeye stayed silent, her face modeling the popular "shocked deer" expression. She turned when Rose got up. Her eyes narrowed, and she mouthed across the room, "If I go down, so do you!" Good friend, no?
She arched an eyebrow when the thermometer was taken out, "That depends," she said, still keeping her eyes on the thermometer, "What for?" There was moment's pause, and Hawkeye was sent into another coughing fit. She cringed and leaned back, mumbling about feeling like she was going to die.

Aria crossed her arms and tapped her foot. "Fine, Stubborn...if you don't do what I ask of you, I'll leave you alone. I'm sure your friends will be happy if you have the diseas and you die from it because your stubborn, Stubborn." She wasn't playing games.
She moved from the 'stubborn' girl and went over to Hawkeye instead. "Hey...just let me take that temperature, okay?" She kneeled as best she could, handing the girl a cloth to cover her mouth from the coughing.

Rose perked up at Hawkeye's comment and smirked, "Hey, one for all!"
She grumbled, not in a particularly chipper mood anymore, "Name's Rose. And I haven't coughed once so I don't see th--" And of course just her luck, through out her ramblings she forgot to swallow the cough, which came up with great force, "Coincidence."

Race sent Hawk and Rose stern glares, not at all amused by their bucky attitudes. He dragged a pregnant woman all the way from the Bronx in the dead of winter to help, and seeing now Rose needed attention too he'd be damned if he was going to let either of them back out of it. Pointing at the bunk beside Hawk he looked at Rose. "Sit down wouldja? An' keep ya trap shut."

"Look, Blondie, you ain't takin' anything with that," she glanced at the thermometer, scooting to the other side of the bed (granted that it was only about a foot over). Unfortunately, another cough took over, catching her a bit off-guard (as she was still focused on the small stick issue), and sending her tumbling backward to the floor.
A moment later, her head popped up, and she mumbled, "Name's Hawkeye. Who're you?"

Rose grunted at Race, even if his intentions were good. She didn't like people to go out of their ways to help her, especially if it was just going to upset them.
"Just for the record, she was brought here for Hawkeye, not me," Rose reluctantly walked over to the bed, not wanting to deal with an angry Race.
She sighed, "It's not that I don't.." Rose took a deep breath, her chest in excruciating pain. Nope, she wasn't ready to admit that she needed help yet.

Race sighed, dragging a hand down his face in exasperation. "Hawk wouldja please jist do as she says? An' Rose, I know she wasn't heah for you, but she is now alright? So jist deal." His voice had lost the anger it had before and just sounded tired.

Rose let out a sigh, curling up into a ball on the bunk, trying to warm up. She coughed into her legs, acting as if it weren't a big deal.
Rose was sure Blink would have field day with this one, "You win."

Aria walked over and nearly slapped Hawk across the face, but managed to control herself. Stupid girls. "Listen, both of you! I'm eight months pregnant, risking myself to help you all out, and I'll be damned if I have to deal ungrateful and stubborn children."
She looked at Race. "Frankly, these girls don't seem to need my help. They cough and cough, and then decide I win after they insult me." She crossed her arms, looking back at the girls. "...apologize, or you can simply find the money to go to the doctor."
Normally she wouldnt have been so short or cross with the girls, but her hormones were still off. She was tired, and annoyed. She was a bit amazed...a Brooklyn girl took her help all in stride, and it was the hattan girls who were being bitches.

Hawkeye arched an eyebrow, because, clearly, saying that one didn't want a thermometer stuffed down her throat was the equivalent of a horrific insult, of course. She pulled her blanket tighter around her and sent a glare toward Racetrack. As far as she was concerned, this was his fault. He was the one who went out to find a "doctor." If she had had it her way, she would have just let the illness run its course and pass. Stupid, caring jerk.
