Sneaks chuckled, kissing her nose lightly, taking his cards and looking at them. "Good good..missing you...but work has been going well.." He smiled. "How about you..besides your friends being sick."

She shrugged a bit, "Oy, it's been cold. But other then that, you should see my cat. The little blighters getting big. And, I heard Dodger's the Bronx leader right now.." she cast a look at him, not sure what he'd say. "Since, Ace isn't around.. and Jack went to Sante Fe.. no one is sure if he'll be back or not.." She arranged her cards as she spoke. "A whole lot of changes." She chuckled a bit. "Happy New Year.."

Sneaks chuckled. "I like change...as long as you stay mine, Miri..." He touched the necklace he gave her. "BEsides...next year will be hte big change..." He put down two cards, replacing them.

She grinned widely and switched out three of her cards, "I don't think you'll ever have to worry about that.." And she really did believe that, one day she'd grow up at least. Because for the first time in her life she really couldn't wait.

She took her cards and glanced at them before she started to arrange her hand. "Your papa.. and mine. We're kinda legacies." She shrugged a bit and tossed out a three cards. "I'm the last of my father's bloodline.. aside from his old bitty of a sister in law.."

She stuck her tongue out at him and then smirked. "Absolutely not what I was even thinking.." She chuckled a bit. "But that's a nice thought.." It dawned on her the implications of what he just said when she showed her full house, queens over twos. She gave him a smile, "Is that part of you're master plan then?"

She smirked a bit and shook her head, "Nope, but then again. We never know what the future holds for us..." She poked him in the chest a bit, "So.. you gonna buy me lunch or do you want me to beg?" She was grinning, she really had just missed being with him. She could just enjoy herself and be happy.
