Moira looked at the bunk room and nodded. "Not bad, really." She spoke softly as there were a lot of kids already asleep. "Really...much like an orphanage. Bronx like this too?" She turned to Blink.

"Sort of, but not really." He moved her to the only empty bunk, his own. Thankfully he had gotten Race to switch with him, so he was on the bottom now instead of the top. He had needed it because of his shoulder. "You have the pirate life there. They have hammocks." Dont ask him why, they just did.

Moira laughed softly, covering her mouth to stifle the sound. "My..guess I choose the right burrough then? Even tho it doesn't have ya." She sat down on his bed, bouncing a bit. "Well, the matresses are better than at me old place."

"I was born and raised heah...Nevah really thought o' leavin." He shrugged a bit, grinning. "Yah, they're not bad at all, and the blankets are thick at any rate." Which was good, being as it was cold enough. He slid his cap from his back pocket and plopped it on the small table by the side.

Moira nodded and pulled the blanket off, handing it to him. "Here." She smiled. "Always said I still have dat irish in me--it takes a lot for me to get cold. So take it." She also handed him the pillow. "And here. I have matress, you can have the other stuff."

His eyebrow shot up, "Nuh-uh. You get one, pick it." He held them both out to her, "Can't leave you with just the matress. Against my nature."

Moira sighed. "Can't win with ya, can I?" She shook her head and smiled, taking the lesser of the two, the pillow. "There, ya happy?" She grabbed the pillow from him, hitting him with it lightly.

"Yup." He grinned, brushing aside the hit a little as he slipped his jacket from his shoulder and rolled it up. There was his pillow. Smiling softly at her, he got down on the floor. "Sleep well, ya hear? Wake up call is early here." He yawned a bit, "You gonna be okay?" In a room full of rowdy boys went unsaid.

Moira smirked. "Ach...I lived in a place like this before, remember? I'll survive alright." She winked. "Got you to protect me, remember?" She chuckled softly and layed down, curling up a bit.
"Night Blink...thanks again." She yawned and closed her eyes, asleep quickly.

"Yah." He grinned. Another habit of his...Once you were his friend, nothing short of betrayal would break that. "G'night, Moira." He closed his eyes, snuggled up under the blanket, and using his jacket as a pillow.
And of course, when it got cold later that night, he pulled the blanket over her shoulders and pulled his jacket over himself. Another habit he was unable to break.

Early that morning, Moira woke up, warm. Figuring what Blink did she shook her head and put the blanket back on him, smirking. No one beat her at comprimises, damn it. She laughed softly and settled down to sleep again.
Nice try, blink..

Blink woke up that morning, and rolled his eyes. "Stubborn girl." He muttered, sitting up and stretching, letting the blanket fall from around his shoulders. Looking over casually, he wondered if she was awake yet. He kept his promises.
Lessons and Lunch.

Moira woke up a few moments later, rubbing her eyes a bit. Her red hair, normaly a wavey curly mess, was just...everywhere. "Mornin..." She managed to mutter, curling up a bit in the morning cold, a sleepy smile on her face.

"You, are a brat." He told her with a straight face, shaking his head and moving to her side. "You do know what this means, right?" He made as if he were going to grab her. "Into da rivah you go."
