Rose stood herself up as Jack walked away, "Hey," she called after him, "If you're gonna go twisting my arm.." she smirked a bit, "Let's go get a bite to eat. But this time you ain't paying. Tibby's perhaps?" She paused, "Thanks by the way," she felt bad that Jack had to do all of this. Sure, he was the leader of Manhattan, but he's just a kid all the same. Sometimes she wished they could just be friends, rather than leader to kid that he's gotta watch over.
She attempted to clean herself up, trying look a bit more presentable for public places... "You're welcome ta come, Tumbler. That is if Jacky-boy still wants ta get out," as she said the last part she turned to Jack putting on the whole 'puppy dog pout' face, which was ruined by her losing her balance and ending up on the floor.
She looked up at the boys, "Not a word."

Tumbler stood up, considering his answer. Either way, Jack was going to leave, and he was probably going to find Lukas. Tumbler wished none of it had ever happened, and that he wouldn't have to face the embarrassment of that happening, but knew that he couldn't change it now. He checked his pockets quickly....he had a little money. Enough to go and get a bite to eat, he decided. It was more to keep an eye on Jack and what he was doing than to eat, he admitted to himself.
And, for some reason, he wanted Rose to have plenty of company to keep her safe.
"Sure," he told her as he approaced, brushing off his shirt. In the back of his mind, he couldn't help wanting Jack to decide to stay in.

Jack turned around, smiling at them. "Well...I know how ta convince my kids that I'm right..." He laughed and put his cowboy hat on his head. "...well lets get ya all cleaned up and get some warm food in ya--"

Rose smirked, "Hey, I never said ya were right," she laughed a bit, "I'm just hungry, that's all."
She stood up, brushing off her pants once she was standing. "Now, where will we be dining on this fine evening?" She said this in an exaggerated tone.

Tumbler stopped himself from sighing. Every step Jack took away from the Lodging House was another step towards the Bronx. Still, now he would go along with it. And besides, he was hungry, too. Giving his shirt one last brush, he moved closer to Rose, ready to go.

Jack smirked. "I say Tibbys--cheap, good food, and it ain't far!" He adjusted his hat and pointed at the door. "Yous guys agree with me?" He winked. "I mean, Rose and Tumbler." Best give them their names--people liked that better.

Rose whistled, pretending as if she wasn't listening, "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were talking to the other people in the room," she smirked.
"Tibby's it is," she made her way for the door. As she passed Jack she gave his hat a tap. She rolled her eyes but gave him a smile as well. That boy never went anyway without that hat of his.

Tumbler followed along, trying to take steps big enough to keep up. Rose was happy, Jack was happy and Tumbler had to admit: he was pretty happy, too. I mean, how could you not be when going to a place like Tibby's?

"Right," she said as she watched the two just stand there, "To Tibby's then?"
(Someone post there and I'll follow =P)
