Cards smirked. "Yeah, Conlon's still da leadah. Makes t'ings interestin', anyway." she shrugged. "He's alright. He belives in 'is kids." It was as simple as that. Spot believed in his kids and that had gained Card's respect.

Fame nodded. She'd heard that before, and believed it. She didn't know him personally, she'd had friends who were friends of his, maybe met him a few times, but not much more then that. "Dats good... he's a good leadah, " she said then looked up to see someone waiting to buy a paper. Well, that was lucky. She handed him his paper and he gave her his money, and a little extra. She smirked, "Well, would ya look at dat... didnt even have ta do nothin." She said. "S' me lucky day."

Cards snorted. "Wish it was me lucky day. I's still ain't got dis whole sellin' papahs business down yet. 'S harder den it looks." Not that she was complaining or anything. Cards thrived on challenges, but sometimes, even she had to admit it was frustrating.

"I guess jest kinda unusual. It happens sometimes, but not as often as I'd like." she said, sighing. She leaned against a building wall, sighing. "I hate it when deres nothin but crap in de paper... we's need some new journalists or somethin."

(New Day)
Shiloh stood on the street corner after work, humming a tune, playing her fiddle. Her case was open at her feet and for at least a moment she was completely happy. It happened that way, music reminded her of home. She tapped her foot and nodded as people dropped change into the case.

Crispin heard the sweet sounds of the fiddle. He looked around and located the player and headed over, he stood a few feet away and to the side. He hadnt heard a fiddle for while not since hed been away from home. He closed his eyes briefly as he let his head fill with the sound of it. After a few moments he opend his eyes and took out some change and walked over dropping it in her case.

Shiloh gave the guy a grin and tapped her foot again, running the bow across the strings to pick up tempo. She could make a fiddle dance and a fiddle cry, this guy looked like he may need a dance.

She started to hum with the tune, letting the music pick up. Shiloh could draw a crowd, she'd always done so back home. Here was no different. This was just spare money, a girl's got to eat after all. She could barely make the boarding house rent with her wages let alone have money for food.

Dodger heard the girl playing, a few papers tucked under his arm. He started to tap his foot and leaned down to bow with his papers, using his accent to the best of his advantage. He smiled at the young ladies that past, "Top of the morning to ya." He wiggled his eyebrows and smiled as they bought a paper a piece. He loved days like this, even though the cold wasn't his thing. "Extra.. Extra.. Death toll rises as winter rolls in.." He loved headlines like that.
