Isabela nodded with a slight smile. She looked through her deck and found the Queen of Clubs. "This is going to represent you for this reading," she said with a smile. She started to lay out three rows of three, one row above the Queen, one on top of, and one below as well as to cards off to the side, half way between rows one and two, and two and three. She layed out a total of 11 cards, 12 if you count the Queen of clubs. "I'm going to read these cards the best I can. Keep in mind, however, that I'm doing a lot of supposing, for I don't know much about you, the cards are the ones that tell the story, I attemtpt to interperate them," she said. She had finished laying out the cards. "Also, the reading is ten cents," she said with a small smile. She wasn't sure if she had told her that.
The first card was in the upper right hand corner of the top row. "This card represents what opposed you in the past," meaning this was a bad thing. She turned the card over showing the two of spades. "This is the gain card. Maybe you gained too much, or others gained something that you were supposed to get, or that you lost," she suggested.
The second card was just to the right of the first card, and directly above the Queen of clubs. "This card affected you in the past, which means it could have been either a good a bad thing, or maybe even both." The card turned over and she sat it down on the table showing them the eight of clubs. "Instability, which means you could have been unstable, mentally, financially, physically, or perhaps someone who was close to you was unstable, which affected you some how."
Next, the third card, was to the immidiate right of the other two face up cards. "This card assisted you in the past, so it was a good thing," she explained to her with a smlie. She turned over the Queen of Hearts and set it down on the table. "This could mean two things. One, it could be a woman of strong emotions who helped you in the past, or two it could mean compassion. What someone had for you that was a good thing, or what you had for someone else."
She pointed to a card that was off to the right of the other cards, and half way between the first row and the second row. "This card is the representation of the transition between the past and the present," she said with a smile to her. She turned the card over, revealing the four of hearts. "This is Inspiration. Perhaps you've had a lot of inspiration recently, and it's been helpful. Then again... perhaps it is the lack there of, and you haven't been able to do a thing?" she suggested. She wasn't sure about this one, but figured offering options was helpful.
She moved on to the middle row. First the turned over the card that was to the left of the Queen of clubs. "This card represents forces currently opposing you," she explained. The card was the six of spades. "This card means Mediocrity, normality, average, and to be honest, rather boring. Perhaps these things are interferring with your creativity, and maybe even your life in general."
Next was the card exactly on top of the Queen of clubs. "THis card is affecting you at the current time, which means it could be good or bad, or both," she reminded Paintbrush again. She turned the card over revealing the nine of diamonds. "This card means Bias, or prejuidice perhaps. Having preference to one thing over another because of your relationship with it," she explained.
She then moved onto the card to the right of the Queen of clubs. "this card is assisting you at the current time," she explained as she turned over the Queen of diamonds. "THis could mean two things. It could be a woman of great material wealth, or it could also mean Vanity, being self absorbed, but remember, this is a good thing, so it is probably someone elses Vanity if that's what the card acctually represents," she explained with a small smile.
Then she pointed to a card that was off to the right of the other cards, along with the one she had turned over earlier. And like before, this was another transition card. "THis one represents the transition between your present and your future, so this would be the very near future," she said clarifying just a little. She turned the card, the seven of clubs, face up. "This card means Dissappointment. Something will happen where you will be dissappointed, or you will dissappoint someone else." She hoped she was giving her enough information to know what she was talking about. If not, she was always willing to answer questions after the reading.
The then moved onto the third and final row. The card in the lower left hand corner was where she started. "This card will oppose you in the future," she explained. She turned the card up showing the six of clubs. "This card means Reflection, being able to relfect on what you've done. You may think to hard into things, and focus too much on something that won't make much of a difference," she said trying to read the card the best she could.
She then went to the next card, directly below the Queen of clubs. "This card will affect you in the future, could be in a positive or negative way," she reminded her. The card she turned face up was the Jack of clubs. "This could mean two things. One, it could be a young man of great spirituality, or it could also mean Immaturity. Whether it is you or someone you know who is being immature I do not know. For all I know it could be an immature young man," she suggested with a small smile.
One last card, to the right of the card she had just turned over. "this card will assist you in the future," she said smiling as she turned over the three of clubs. "This card represent Comprehension, or understanding, being able to understand things. So in the future, understanding will definatly be something that will be no problem," Isabela said with a proud smile.
She looked across the reading. Looked good to her. "Any questions?" she asked with a smile.
