Flanna smiled slightly. "Just general, I think." She at down in the chair, keeping her left hand firmly in her pocket, and then pulled out a few coins. "How much is it?"

"Ten cents" Isabela said continuing to shuffle the cards. "Any part of your life you want to focus on? Money, power, love? Or would you rather just do a basic life reading?" she asked, her hands never letting the cards stop.

Alley walked up and stood by the tent. She could hear two people inside so she decided to stand outside until the were finished. She kept glancing around her making sure that no brooklyn newsie was around to soak her. Or she wasn't going to have an accident. How she had made it to Coney Island was beyond her. She took a deep breath and scanned the situation.

Flanna paused. "Overall, please." She placed the ten cent piece down on the table.

Isabela nodded to her with a smile as she took the money off the table. "Thank you very much," she said as she slipped it into her pocket. She liked this girl, she was polite, and seemed nice to her. She then pulled out the ten of clubs and placed it on the table. As she spoke she continued shuffling the cards. "This card represents you," she explained. "Just for this reading this card is going to be you. Also during this reading I am going to be reading the cards. I'll try to apply them to general situations, but it's your job to interperate them." Once she was satisfyed with the way the cards were she laid down one row of three above the ten of clubs, and then put one card off to the right and about half way down. She then laid down yet another row of three, the middle card going ontop of the ten of clubs, and then yet another card half way down, and off to the right as well. She then placed one more row of three face down. She set the extra cards off to the side. It looked good to her. She could now begin.
The first card was in the upper left hand corner. "This card opposed you, or was against you in your past." She turned the card over showing them the four of Spades. "This card is a representation of Freedom. It may have been that you had too much freedom, or possibly not enough, and you made some bad decisions because of this."
She moved onto the card in the middle of the first row. "This card affected you in the past. It could be in a good or bad way, that has yet to be determined." Isabela turned over the card. It was the eight of hearts. "It means Obsession. An obsession of yours, or it could even be of someone else's obsession with you. Though, this could be a good or bad thing," she said nodding a little.
One card was left in the first row, in the upper right hand corner. "This card assisted you in your past. So it was helpful, a good thing." She turned the card face up showing them the four of clubs. "This is the Responsibility card. It's possible that you've followed through with your responsibilities, done what you agreed on, and it has been beneficial to you."
She then came to the cards that were outside of the box she'd set up. The first one being half way between the first row and the second. "This card is the transition from the past to the present." She turned the transition card over to show them the Queen of Hearts. "This card means compassion. Maybe you had compassion for someone else, or someone had compassion for you recently. Maybe you helped one another," she said with a smile.
She moved onto the middle row, the card on the far left. "This row is a representation of the present. There for, this card is opposing you at the current time." She turned the card over and showed the ace of Spades. "This card is the power card. It could be someone else's power over you, a maybe a relative, or a close friend. But whose ever power and for what ever reason it isn't affecting you in a positive way."
"This next card is affecting you at the current time, be it in a good way or a bad way." She turned over the card in the middle of the formation, that was on top of the ten of clubs and found the King of Hearts. "This could be one of two things. It could be a man who associates with strong emotions, or it could also mean self-destruction, it's also known as the Suicide King. Though it could be self-destruction of something you own, and it doesn't nessisarily have to be physical."
One more card remained in the middle row. "This card is assisting you right now," she said nodding. She turned the card face up showing the seven of clubs. "This is the card of Disappointment. However, since it is assisting you then maybe it's someone elses Disappointment, it's a good thing," she reminded her. Isabela didn't know quite what to say for this card being a good thing. She hoped Flanna had some ideas of her own.
Next was the second card outside of the box, half way between the second and third row. "This is a transition from the present to the futre." She turned over the 8 of diamonds. "This card is the card of Fear. Either yours, or someone elses... or possibly someone else even being scared for you," she said offering ideas for what it could mean.
There was one row left, and it was the row representing the future. First was the card in the lower left hand corner. "This card will oppose you in the future," she said. She turned the card over to show the five of spades. "This card represents Competition. It is possible that since it is opposing you, you might lose this competition. I'm not saying that you will, just that it's a possibility."
She then moved onto the card in the middle of the last row. "This card will affect you, either in a positive or negative way in the future." She turned over the card in the middle of the row to reveal the Queen of Clubs. "This could mean one of two things. It could either be a woman of great mental capacity or it could mean Equilibrium. Everything being equal and even in your life, a good balance," she said. She usually found balance to be a good thing, but there were times when it had been known not to be a good thing at all.
Isabela moved then to the final card in the reading. "This card will be of help to you in the future," she said as she turned the final card over. It was the ten of Diamonds. "This could be a young woman of material wealth, or it could also be Fraud." Isabela was having trouble finding the upside to fraud. "Maybe someone will not speak the truth to protect you. If this is true, it may make you unhappy, but it will be a benneficial thing," she said, after all, it was assising her future.
This was the end of the reading. Isabela looked over the cards, and was satisfyed with it. "Do you have any questions?" she asked with her ever cheerful smile.

Flanna sighed. It was all true, sadly. And most of it seemed to revolve around Nick.
That last card wasn't too pleasing though.
"Thank you, miss." She paused. "...no...no questions." She stood. "Mixed reading, isn't it?" he sighed. "Such was and is my life."

Isabela looked at her a little dissappointed. Poor girl, sounded as though she had it rather rough. "Yes... I suppose it is," she said nodding. "My name is... Isabela. If I can be of any help, please don't hesitate to stop by at any time," she said sincerely. Though she wasn't usually one for getting invoved with those she does readings for, she figured that because she was sticking around New York for a while, it couldn't hurt to have a few allies.

Flanna nodded a soft smile on her lips. "Flanna...nice to meet you." She nodded and tarted to leave. "same goes for you. I live near the Brooklyn lodging house..if you ever need a horse, just find me." She smiled again, a bit brighter. "...thank you again." And with that, he left

Alley watched the other girl leave and walked into the tent. She wasn't sure why she was there really. She needed someone to talk to she guessed and sense gypsies usually didn't stick around for long. She was still shaken about what had happened with Dusty and all and what was going on recently that she needed someone to talk to. "hello" She said tentively.

Isabela was clearing the cards on the table as Alley walked in side the tent. She looked up to the new comer with a smile on her face. "Well hello there," she said as she put the cards back into her deck and began shuffling them. "And, what can I do for you?" she asked

Alley jumped back startled when Isabela spoke. "Umm well i'm not really sure." She played with her braid. She obviouslly looked outta place and she obviously looked at tad bit scared. Anyone would be if they knew there was a chance of getting caught were they weren't supposed to be. "Can i umm sit down." She'd regained some of the color she had lost with the misscarriage, she was still sick but that didn't matter much. She coulld roam around without coughing and what not so everything was good in her eyes well save for a few things.

Isabela nodded to her slowly. "Of couse," she said with a smile as she indicated the chair across from where she sat. She continued shuffling the cards in her hands. "Well, I don't know how much assistance I can be, if you're unsure of what you want. Things tend to get muddled when people are confused. Maybe I could help straighten you out," she suggested.

Alley let a small smile appear but only for a second. "I don't know what's happening to me. Everything seems to be spiraling downward out of control." She reached up to where her locket had been and looked down it. That was what was making her go crazy it was just she didn't know how to deal with it. she had a feeling she was making more mistacks now then anything good.

Isabela looked up suddenly seeing Lucky appear in the door. She smiled at her young friend. "I'm sorry... Lucky," hey, she acctually pronounced it right! "it's been so busy around here recently. Your hat is in the back. I'll give you a lesson as soon as I can," she said with a smile. She pointed towards the back, where she spent her time when no one was around. "It's just on a chair," she said.
She then turned back to Alley. "Well... everyone has their bad days, but things almost always look up in the end." Almost always because sometimes... well... they just didn't turn out well at all. "Just give it time dear. I'm sure everything will go for the better," she nodded to her.
