Prince's cheeks went from pink to red as he complimented her. Being 'beautiful' was not a compliment to her for the last... few years.
Though Prince thought she understood what Jack meant she didn't. But it was fairly close. What she was thinking was that he wanted her to keep herself hidden and safe, and not be a girl all the time so that her father wouldn't find her. Still... she was pretty sure they had an understanding in things... yeah.
Still she nodded to him. "Alright," she agreed to it. Couldn't do any harm, now, could it?

His grin got even bigger. "...good." He looked at the moon which was high in the sky now. "...if I wasn't a leader, I'd just sleep on your fire escape...but I best get back now." He sighed, not wanting to really leave. He didn't want the night to end, afraid that in the morning, this wouldn't have happened. That Prince hadn't just gave him the words that he had wanted.
"Best night I've had in a long time..." And it was. Despite the sadness and the bits of distraughtness..it had ended beautifully..and his heart had never felt more full.

Prince smiled at him. "Well... maybe I'll take a walk tomorrah or somethin'. I mean since the Bronx is neutral now it's a bit safer," she said with a bit shrug. And even if it weren't... she'd walk through it anyway. "So... whadaya say? Tomrrah?"

Jack nodded. "Yes, tomorrow will be perfect..." He leaned down and kissed her again, his fingers touching her soft hair one last time. "I cant wait to see you..." He smiled and kissed her brow before walking towards the Bronx, feeling lighter than he had in days.

Prince smiled after him, and placed her hat on her head, leaving her hair down as she walked home. Just a few blocks... she won't run into anyone in a few blocks... and she rather liked her hair being down for the moment. She practically danced all the way back to the lodging house.

<<new day/night>>
Coop led Emmanuelle to the distribution center. It was night time and no one would be there. He sat on a bench and turned to her. "I need you to tell me what's been going on."

Emmanuelle bit her lip. "When you left everything went bad for us. Everyone who ever followed you was ran out of Brooklyn...or killed. Anthony tried to stand up to him." She didn't need to say what happened for Coop to know.

Coop let out a deep sigh, looking at the ground. Yeah, he knew what had happened to Anthony. "And Dutch, what about him."

Emmanuelle's eyes connected with Coop's. "I haven't seen him in a while, but last time I saw him..." She turned her head quickly. Her eyes burned as tears threatened to fall. She frustratedly wiped them away. "He wont stop lookin' until your dead."

As much as he wanted to deny it, he had already known. Dutch was one relentless person. He wouldn't just let it go. Coop looked over at Emmanuelle and lifted her head with his hand. "It's ok. I'll be alright." It sounded like he was trying to convince himself more than her.

She smiled, still unsure, but for Coop's sake. She stood. "It's gettin' late. I'm gonna head back."

Coop nodded also standing. "Yeah, me too. I'll take you back."
