"Mornin Davey." Blink greeted with a smile. He had been in a better mood for the last few days, even with the war, because the delanceys had been leaving him alone. He missed the fights, but he didn't miss the injuries.
He didn't like those too much.

"Finally, someone who doesn't spit into their hands for a handshake," David said good-naturedly, leaning across Blink's lap to shake hands with Sweets. "David Jacobs."
It was strange that he still had the nickname. Well, usually they stuck with you for a long time, but still. It had been Spot Conlon, the leader of Brooklyn, who had given it to him, so you would think that people would have stopped calling him it when the war started. Apparently old habits died hard.
"Good morning Blink," he said, before scanning the Distribution Center. "Have you guys seen Jack around lately?"

Blink rolled his eyes, "No, i dont mind. By all means, lean over me as if i dont exist." There was a teasing note to his voice, and a smile on his face. He really didn't mind. He just liked being a pain sometimes. It made everything feel normal again.
"Mr. Elusive-leader?" He snorted. "You've gotta be kiddin me. I haven't seen him for days." He paused, fixing the strap on his eyepatch. It was irritating him because he had stopped wearing it around Two-Bit, and the lodging house. "You might wanna ask Race when he gets here, though. He might have seen him."

"The moment you stop spit-shaking is the moment I stop reaching across you like you don't exist, Blink," David said, rolling his eyes and pulling his hand away. Though he was still not as sarcastic or loud as the newsies, he was getting there. Intelligence and logic was the core of the Jacobs boy, and they went hand-in-hand with sarcasm. Ever since the strike, he had become more outspoken rather than keeping his ideas to himself.
His brow furrowed slightly at the mention of 'Mr. Elusive-leader.' He hadn't seen his selling partner in a while either, for a few days even, which troubled him. After all, weren't you supposed to sell with your selling partner. Shrugging off his worries he ran a hand through his curly brown hair, wondering where Jack would be if he wasn't here.

He snorted, sliding backwards and jumping up. "Yah, keep dreaming Mouth." He wandered over to get his papes, frowning a bit when he realized the dates with Two-Bit had cut into what little savings he had. He pursed his lips and made a sort of clicking sound as he paid and sat back next to David and Sweets, keeping his hand cupped around his remaining money as he counted it.

Itey snickered as he flipped through the pape, looking for a decent headlie to work with. They weren't great, but they were all do-able. Closing his copy he looked down at Blink. "I saw Jack not long ago in de Kitchen when Ise was cuttin' t'rough."

"Oh yah? So he is alive, surprise surprise." Blink muttered, cursing when he came up short. He must have dropped some money. Jumping up, he stalked over to the window, looking around. He let out a soft 'aha' when he found what he was looking for and reached down to pick it up.

"Bendin' ovah? Yeesh, Cyclops, save dat fer ya lodgin' house, will ya?" Said a voice from inside the distribution office. Morris leaned casually against the window-grate, sneering out at Blink.

Blink froze, picking up the loose money and slipping it into his pocket. "Well if it isn't my fellow birdie." He crossed his arms and smirked. "I see someone finally put you behind bars...oh, speaking of bars...Did your brother get out all right after we put him in jail?"

Firecracker bounced back to the D.C, having sold her papers down by the harbor earlier. She froze, seeing the Delancey Brother. She may be new, but by the way Kid Blink was talking to him, she immediately knew he was in an enemy. In a flash, she was by the newsie's side.
"If his brudda's as greasy as he is, he probably could've slipped trough da bars," the girl said cheerfully, looking innocent.

Itey looked over at the girl, "Didn't you just leave?" He looked back over to David, knowing Blink could handle himself, "Where's ya brothah been at? Haven't seen him around."

With a snarl and a door slam, Morris was out of the office and flying at Blink. Tackling him, Morris's fists punched at every part of him her could reach, a dull metal catching the sunlight across his knuckles.
((brass knuckles, if ya didn't notice..))

Blink snarled, his eye flashing in rage as he rolled them along the floor. With a sharp heave he brought his foot against the other's stomach, pitching him over his head. It wasn't very far, but it was enough to get Blink back on his feet, arm curled around his stomach. He wiped some blood from his split lip. "Gotta fight dat dirty? Hah, what am i sayin? You're a Delancey!" He roared, flying against the other, his fist slamming into his jaw.

Sweets gasped as the boy came hurdling out of the door. Seeing Blink get up she went around behind Morris and landed a swift kick between his legs... sure it was a cheap shot, but hey, a goils gotta do what a goils gotta do.
