A small cafe on a busy corner, it's a great place for a cup of joe!

Blink sat in one of the streetside tables, smoking on a cigarette, and nursing his fifth cup of free coffee. He was thankful for the kind owner, giving people like him free stuff. He had some money stowed away, but with the price hike, he wasn't going to be able to save it like he wanted...so he was trying to watch his money. He snorted, rolling his eyes. Blink, worryin' about money. Hell hath frozen over.

Mush found Blink and dropped down beside him, they were doomed as far as he could see and Bumlets was never really to optimistic. All the girls around just made it worse. They were going to be in a world of trouble.

"Here." Blink slid the coffee cup over to Bumblets, puffing on his cigarette. "We're in trouble, aren't we, my fine friend?"

Bumlets took the coffee and leaned back with a sigh before he nodded, "Yeah, Kid, I'd say we're in deep trouble from the looks of it. The price hike? We almost starve to death last time.."

Blink sighed. "Well I say we strike..but wes cant do that until Jack says so...and I don't know if he's gonna say so this time, Bumblets. I've got some inklings. I aint happy." He rolled his eyes.

Bumlets let out a sigh and shook his head, taking off his hat to run the back of his hand across his forehead. "I think you've got a point, striking worked last time right? But-- I don't think Jack's gonna wanna strike either... last time well.." They'd all jumped in and ran with it but now?

Blink smirked. "But whys we thinkin that what worked last time, would work dis time? I mean, the pape lords are stupid, but are they stupid to fall for the same thing twice?"

"I don't think it's going to work, "Bumlets confided in his friend. "Honestly I'm not sure striking is going to work this time, they gave in before giving us the power, but--- I don't think they're going to deal with us the same way. We're older too, you and I? We're to old for the refuge, Blink.."

Blink chuckled. "What, are you thinkin I'm going to jail?" He rolled his eyes. "Hell no, I can pull off a little kid as best as I can..." He touched the slight stubble he had on his chin. "...if I shave."

Bumlets grinned, "I've got more of a baby face then you do Blink..." He couldn't help it he really did have that kind of a baby face and a grin but he was to damn tall. No one could believe that he was any older then fifteen-- but he was by a bit. "And I don't have any stubble yet--" Okay a lie really but he shaved every morning.

"Well I's older than ya...so dat means if we get caught, I'm gonna be made responsible for your stuff..." Blink sighed, counting out his money; after figuring out he had enough, he ordered a sandwich. "Jack...yous heard what Jack wants to do, right?"

He lifted a brow and looked over at Blink, shaking his head he leaned on the broom handle fumbling for a cigarette. "No, I haven't heard what Cowboy's planning.." He normally heard a lot threw the grapevine but not being able to talk to Jack as of late well-- that made it more difficult.

Blink shook his head. "Is been hearin' that hes not wantin' to strike dis time..cause he wants to be part of the pape' business..." He snorted, taking a long drag. "I's think he's crazy."

Bumlets had to consider that a moment, tapping his hand on his broom handle with a nearly blank expression on his face. The wheels of his mind turning as he considered this new information, "I can't blame him, Kid. Strikes don't always work the same way twice, like Davey was saying we didn't have a union and were just a bunch of angry kids with no money-- we're not kids anymore... a lot a' us have been thinking about new jobs too. Movin on, this would be our last hurrah.."
