(New Day)
Shiloh was many things and hard up for cash was one of them, and considering her feeling on many things she stood on the step of the gazebo and played her fiddle like she was telling some poor souls life story. She needed the cash and relying on Colin for anything was like relying on someone to give you your money back when they spent it all at the track.
She hummed as she tried to think of a way to get more money, she had her case open and she was within distance to get what she wanted if someone tried to take it from her. That was enough. She had one eye cracked open to watch people as she let the music pick up, getting her feet to lift a bit in a jig. She could dance---- well not well but she could.

Foster was passing through. It was his day off today and so he figured hed just get out, see all that hed been missing since he had picked up the extra hours at the pub. As he made his way through the park, a tune drifted through hitting his ears and making his feet veer towards where it came from. Music was such a powerful thing, as long as it was played from the heart. Hed heard some rubbish stuff before, stuff that just came from someones fingers or voice like it was nothing, but true musicians, whether they liked it or not seemed to always take it from some part of their being. They could make someone feel exactly what they wanted in the song.
The music got louder and soon a girl came into view, playing the fiddle moving a bit to it as well. He stopped nearby as he listened, fishing in his pocket for some coins and tossing it into the open case. She was quite good.

She continued to play and lifted an eye to the man who'd dropped her some money into her case and she smirked at him, continuing her dancing. She felt the music flow into her and out, music-- damn Colin but whatever worked for his idiot self. Shiloh would right a song one day.
When her song ended she pulled the fiddle from her chin and lifted her arms over her shoulders.

When she was done foster clapped and gave her an easy smile. "you play well..'He commented, though he was sure she already knew that. Why else would she be playing for money. If you couldnt play itd be a little hard to get people to leave money. "How long have you been playing?"he asked her as he stepped towards the gazebo more to lean against the side of it.

*New Day*
Sloane wandered into Prospect Park, very familiar to her. She had been coming here since she was just a little girl. It made for a peaceful day, with a hint of fun. She stepped up onto the deserted gazebo, and lowered herself onto a bench, letting out a relieved sigh. It had been a long day at the mill and she wanted nothing more than to rest her feet. She couldn't very well do that at home. Not with Fussy baby Joey. She felt a little guilty, she could be at home helping her Mother.
She didn't want to go home yet though, she had to do some writing first. She pulled out her little spellbinding book, she fingered the smooth cold cover and the gold glassy letters across the cover. She had been working on an idea for a little story the whole entire day at the mill, and she was just dying to start it, to make her ideas come to life on the pages. She smiled as she looked out at the serene lake and flipped her book open, turning to the next empty pages. This was her favorite writing spot. No Eloise peering over her shoulder, or baby Joey crying noisily. None of Mother's requests.
She took out her little ink pen and started writing, loving the sound of the ink scratching against the paper as she wrote.

Perry walked through the park towards the large gazebo. He found it was one of his favorite places to go when Lexi let him wander off by himself. Plus he knew how to get home easily from here and he knew Lexi would be worried if he got lost and he didn't want to worry his sister. He didn't notice Sloane until he got close and as he did he smiled widely and skipped over to her. "Hi, I'm Perry! What's your name? What're you doing? Writing? I can only write a few words. Lexi that's my sister is teaching me to write more." He didn't even pause to take a breath as he said all of this. Although he tended to overwhelm people who didn't know him those that were used to him found his rants adorable.

Sloane looked up in surprise, her brown eyes widening a little when a voice brought her out of her thoughts. Her hand jumped in surprise, making a large line of ink across the paper.
"Hi, I'm Perry! What's your name? What're you doing? Writing? I can only write a few words. Lexi that's my sister is teaching me to write more."
Sloane looked from the boy to her paper and then back to the boy before coughing slightly, letting a small smile spread across her face. If it was Eloise who disturbed her, she let her have it, but she wouldn't be cross with a little boy, besides it was kind of a lonely day anyways. She smiled at the younger boy.
"Oh my, um hello there. It's very nice to meet you, mister Perry." She sent him a small curious smile, wondering if Perry was his real name or not. "My name is Sloane and yes, I am writing. That's good that you're sister is teaching you. Writing and reading is an important thing to know. Do you like to learn?"
Sloane studied him, wanting to know. He looked like a curious little thing. She guessed he probably did like learning, unlike her younger sister, Eloise, though she got the chance to go to school, never fancied learning.

Perry nodded furiously and even wider smile spreading across his face giving him and impish look. "I love learning new things, my sister says thats why I ask so many questions. I just like to know the answers...don't you?" Perry sat down next to Sloane and looked around before focusing in on Sloane again. "Do you like to learn?"

Sloane nodded and laughed softly. "Yes, I do like learning things. And that's a good thing. I don't think being curious is really a bad thing, except if you're going to be curious, I would say stay away from beehives."
His energy didn't bother her, she didn't really find it annoying. She had never met somebody who was so as energetic as Perry, he could give even Eloise a run for her money.

Perry swung his legs beneath him and smiled brightly at Sloane. "What's a beehive?" He'd never heard the word before and it seemed like an odd one to him. "Is that like a weapon? Or medicine?" His nose wrinkled up in distaste at the mere thought of medicine. Ick how he hated the stuff.

"What's a beehive? Is that like a weapon? Or medicine?"
Sloane laughed slightly again and smiled, fingering one of her pinned back light brown braids.
"No its not a weapon, not exactly anyways. It's a nest for bees. That's where they make their honey. You don't wnat to get too close to one of those. They are very protective of their honey and might sting if they're angry. You know, I wish they put honey in medicine, medicine might possible taste better then! Sweeter at least." She smiled, wow. She was doing a lot of talking, being as quiet as she was. Well, maybe Perry was so energetic that his energy and outgoingness was spreading to her.

Perry looked awed at the thought of honey in medicine. "Honey tastes sssssoooo good! My sister puts it on bread for me." He nodded emphatically and smiled brightly. "I got stung by a bee once and it hurt a lot and I don't want to get stung by a lot of bees at once that must hurt a lot more."

"Honey tastes sssssoooo good! My sister puts it on bread for me."
"Well then, we'll just have to suggest that to the doctor, so that medicine might taste good from now on, what do you think?" Sloane asked with a big smile.
"I got stung by a bee once and it hurt a lot and I don't want to get stung by a lot of bees at once that must hurt a lot more."
"My baby brother got stung once and he bawled for a whole hour, our apartment is usually noisy all the time because of him, but i still love him. So you have brothers and sisters? Are you the youngest?" She asked curiously.
"I have two brothers and a sister," She told him.

"Well then, we'll just have to suggest that to the doctor, so that medicine might taste good from now on, what do you think?"
Sticking his thumb in his mouth Perry nodded, he couldn't stop thinking about the medicine his doctor had given him that tasted so horrible he could barely swallow it. After a moment Perry removed his thumb and gave a slight smile, "It would make being sick taste better. But I think that honey should be something you put on everything. What wouldn't taste better with honey on it? At Christmas my sister makes tea with honey in it!"
"So you have brothers and sisters? Are you the youngest?"
Perry nodded his head slightly to the second question. "I have an older brother and an older sister. Lexi's the oldest she takes care of us." The words came out of Perry's mouth with such love behind them that it was obvious he adored his sister. "And then there's Reid."
When Sloane mentioned that she had siblings Perry's whole face lit up like he was at a carnival. "Are you the youngest too?"

Sloane laughed again, this kid was just a bundle of joy, she couldn't help but be cheerful. A wide grin lit up her petite face.
"I have an older brother and an older sister. Lexi's the oldest she takes care of us. And then there's Reid."
Sloane smiled and nodded, very glad that he had siblings to take care of him. It would be a shame if he was all alone. It sounded like he was well taken care of.
"Are you the youngest too?"
"No, actually I'm second to oldest. I have an older brother Freddy, and a younger sister Eloise, and then a baby brother named Joey. But I am still plenty young mind you, I'm only twelve."
