Sonkai's head nearly snapped in his direction when he mentioned that she was Rom. Most people just assumed she had some sort of exotic heritage but he had been able to pick it out exactly where she came from so quickly. "Most would prefer to spit at me than watch me dance," She muttered to herself as she stood. She didn't feel quite so comfortable anymore since he'd announced her heritage.
Glancing at Sarah, she tried to gage her reaction and when the girl seemed to have none she gave her a slight smirk. "I'm going to head back to Irving..." She didn't want to seem desperate for friends but she honestly appreciated the woman's humor. "Would you like to meet for drinks after work one day?" She said it nonchalantly and stood waiting for an answer.
After having met Sarah she felt as though they could be good friends given time. Although they were different they still had the same sense of humor and she found qualities in the girl that she didn't usually find in women in their profession.

"Ah, darlin'," Jensen charmed, looking to Sarah, "the dancin' girls may come and go, but no one could ever forget a headliner the likes of you!"
The Rom girl stood up then, making to leave, muttering darkly about ill-mannered men and their deference to her heritage. Jensen frowned as he caught her words.
"Then they're damned fools," he said quickly, watching her. "Anyone with half a brain could tell you, the Rom girls are the ones to be lookin' out for. Nobody moves like a Rom. Hope you ain't leavin' on my account, miss. I certainly don't intend to spit in your direction--unless you like it that way, you know?" He winked to her and smiled, letting her know he was kidding.

She laughed at Jensen's response, amused by his easy nature and charming deflection of every comment she sent sailing in his direction. Oh men like him did make flirting a bit of sport. "Oh you are a charmer, aren't you Mr. Flynn?" She arched an eyebrow at him and smiled, feeling at ease.
Sarah had narrowed her eyes slightly at Jensen's comment on Sonkai's ethnicity, but he recovered nicely and she relaxed, leaning back against the railing of the gazebo and lighting her cigarette. She nodded when Sonkai made the offer for drinks, finding she did rather enjoy the other woman's company and it would do her good to expand her horizons beyond Naomi and the girls at Caprice. "Drinks sounds lovely, Sonaki. We'll make plans for sometime later this week then?" She knew that the other woman was likely uncomfortable by Jensen's presence and didn't begrudge her taking leave, but was glad to have plans to see the fascinating woman later.

Sonkai glanced at Jensen at his statement, her eyebrow hidging up just a bit. "I have to get ready for a show actually." Though she didn't care to be in his prescense even if he hadn't meant anything by what he'd said. He obviously was the sort of man Sarah would have more fun with than Sonkai. Well, Sonkai didn't really think any sort of man was the sort of man she could have fun with.
Returning her attention to Sarah when she spoke, Sonkai nodded her head gently. "That sounds fine. I have some free time on Thursday, should I come by Caprice?" She'd been to the other hall enough times with Medda to be able to get there relatively easily on her own.
