Built in 1898, the Third Avenue Bridge connects The Bronx to Manhattan.

Taking a stroll along the bridge, Allistaire ran his hand down the front of his newly bought suit. It was a dark blue, and looked quite nice on him. When hed seen himself in the mirror he thoguht he looked quite fine and well made of money of course. He smirked a bit, hs sister would probably roll her eyes at him, but he didnt care. He check ed his pocket watch, a new one as well, of course. It had been far too much for him to buy, but ... well they wouldnt miss it. There had been several around it and hed re arranged them so they wouldnt notice. Besides hed bought the suit hadnt he. That was enough in itsself.

>>>New Day<<<
Corsair checked the clock in a nearby pub, for once he was there and not drinking. He looked down at his water and frowned. Who drinks water in a pub. He sighed and stood up, it was time anyway. He was only here to meet Marauder. Corsair had a strict policy about not drinking on the job. He needed to keep his head. He left the pub and walked towards the bridge.
As he got closer he took a look into the river, it looked cold and dirty today. He watched every person he passed. Being a theif he was aware of other theives who might want to sneak around or 'accidently' run into him. He reached the bridge and walked not even a fourth of the way across before he stopped. Resting his elbows against the rail he looked out across the river, keeping still enough to know if anyone was coming to close, who shouldn't.

Marauder was already their, finishing his cigarette under the dark cold overhang of the bridge. The only light was the red dot from this smoke as he took a deep drag and whistled the old call to get him to come to the darkness where he was.
He looked better really but his face was impassive, all business. Flanna knew he well enough and she would probably not believe his expression now. "Find out anything?" he had been doing his own kind of investigating. He'd been asking around about their old members, well watching out for them. None of them had really gone to far--

Corsair heard the call but made no outward notice of it. He waited a moment then walked to meet Marauder in the darkness. Corsair saw the look on his face, it was one that Corsair was very familiar with. It was time for business. He was curious as to what Marauder had found out, but Marauder had asked first. He was always the one to take charge. Corsair liked it that way.
"I ran into Nicholas Goodwell, things seem to be going about the same since we left. I've heard a bit about some of the old members, but they don't seem to be doing much anymore...other then that...not too much yet..." He liked dealing in the dark, it was actually more comfortable for him, as it was to most theives. It was easier then dealing with other people, especially in matters like this. "What about you?" He asked seriously.

His lip quirked as Corsair's serious tone floated threw the darkness. The serious tone. "Dodger is the leadah of the Bronx newsies... " That had intrigued him a great deal, they'd used Dodger because he was good-- had been one of the best.

Corsair couldn't help but smirk. "What? Dodger...leader...of the Bronx...newsies..." He said, thinking about each thing seperately. "How did that happen?" He said with a look of humor in his eyes. Dodger, the Dodger, previous theif, and not only a theif but a darn good one at that, was now leader of a bunch of newsies, and in the Bronx too. That was just weird.

Maruader had to flash him a grin, he couldn't help it. "Takes awhile to sink in doesn't it.... The Artful Dodger, a role model for the easily lead.."

Corsair smirked. "You know what we gotta do don't cha?" He shook his head, still amazed at the news. "We need to go give our friend Dodger a visit." He chuckled, trying not to laugh as he pictured Dodger with a bunch of little newsies. Not even pickpockets...newsies.

Marauder snorted and held up his hand, the smirk and the grin and the sound of his partner's voice had him fighting a grin. "Not just yet, Dodger doesn't even know we are back." He leaned back and folded his arms. "I saw Flanna-- had to see her really she's missing a finger and the prat Razor is off. I was thinking of laying low for a little while longer--- I hear the prices are going up and you know what that could mean.." More money for them.

Corsair raised his eyebrows when he mentioned Flanna. Oh yes, Corsair was very familiar with Flanna, having known Marauder for as long as he had, how could not know Flanna. He was surprised to hear that she was missing a finger but said nothing. News that Razor had left was not surprising but definitely not good news either. He nodded as Marauder said they should lay low for a while, it made perfect sense to him. He smirked as he heard about the prices going up though. "Sure do..." He rubbed his fingers together, common sign representing money.

He grinned, couldnt' help it. "If Bucky were here we'd have a harder time getting Nicholas in on this-- he always ways a cagey bastard that one... what did he have to say?" Frankly Marauder had always hated Razor, but it wasn't widely known to anyone other than Flanna. Caleb had always played his cards close to his vest.

Corsair shrugged. "He didn't really say much...just small talk. You know how he is, doesn't like to give out too much information. Mostly small talk, things are going pretty much the same...I'll keep in contact though and see if I can get anything else out of him...."

"It might be in our best interest to make nice with him, Tristan. He's got his finger on the pulse of the city at the moment and aside from old---- acquaintances we're in the dark here." It was true, they'd been in so many places the last couple years that they had lost touch with the ins and outs of New York. But Nicholas had not.

Corsair nodded. "That was my thought too. I'll make sure things go smoothly on that end." He got along alright with Nicholas, he just had a lot of power that Corsair had to try to get him to open up about, and it was pretty hard with Nicholas. But Corsair was good at getting on the inside, and not just with women.
