Blink's eyes narrowed. He wasn't a doctor, he wasn't any one who knew much about anything actually. But he did look her in her eyes, voice serious. "Rose. Seriously."
His gaze went to Hawk. "Yes...I realize this. Stay dere."

"Oh, don't give me that," Rose let out a sigh, looking away in order to avoid eye contact with him.
She bit her lip, trying to conjure up an excuse, "Look, if I thought I was sick do ya think I'd be ready ta go out and sell papes once Race gets back?"

Hawkeye rolled her eyes and snapped, "Oh, you think you've got a problem with being stuck in here, huh?" She scowled, "I was never seen any where twice outside of Babylon. Don't talk to me about hating being trapped." She turned her attention back to the window for a moment before she doubled over, gripping the sides of the bed, coughing hard enough to nearly kill herself.

"Yes." Blink said easily, still looking hard at her. "because you would try and make up any and all excuses as to why you aren't sick, even though you might be."
His eyes went back to Hawk and he reached over, rubbing her back gently. Probably wouldn't help, but at least he was doing something.

Rose looked back at him as his eyes were on Hawkeye, still avoiding direct eye contact, "I ain't sick."
She fidgeted on the bunk, "Can I get ya anythin'?" she said after Hawkeye finished coughing, "More water?"

Hawkeye sat up, glancing at the others. She opened her mouth to reply, but all that came out was another fit of coughing. She pulled her blanket a little tighter around her and shook her head, "'S fine," she picked up her other glass, mumbling, "Still got this one," before taking a sip.

Blink 'hmmed' under his breath, before looking around. "Where's dat rope...." He didn't believe her, not in the slightest. But he did feel like he needed to explain himself. "I'm just worried bout ya. Both of ya."

Rose smiled at him, she really did appreciate everything he was doin', she's just a stubborn brat, "I give ya permission to worry about this one," she nodded towards Hawkeye, "But not me."
She took another deep breath, which yet again led to a twinge of pain. Rose immediately eyed Blink, "Ya wanna see the bruises from the fight?"

Hawkeye scowled. She glared down at her blanket a moment before snapping, "This isn't fair," she looked over to Blink, "I can't be mean to you when you're being so nice," she glared, "You jerk. You nice jerk."

Blink rubbed the back of his neck. "I can't help it you two. You know me. Worry about others even if I'm dyin." He gave them a quick grin, before his eyebrow rose at Rose. "You could take it easy on me and just give in. That's another option."
He looked over at Hawk and smiled softly. "You're a good friend, Hawk...How can I not be worried? Besides...I've always been a nice jerk. You know that."

"And admit defeat like that?" Rose smiled at him and shook her head, "Sorry, the stubborn side of me just won't let that happen."
She closed her eyes and swallowed another cough.

"Stubborn side of myself won't let you be stubborn and not admit defeat." He gave her a bow of his head, grinning. "Besides...You're going to get me really worried." He put on a slight puppy dog look.

Rose smiled and looked away, crossing her arms, "That's not gonna work on me, buddy. Especially since there is nothing for me to admit."
Another cough was coming up, worse than the last few, but once again she fought it back. Rose cleared her throat, "So really I'm being stubborn about you being stubborn about me being 'sick'."

"Well, get used to it. I'm very good at being stubborn." Blink eyed her for a moment, knowing she wasn't going to give it up. But still... He couldn't help it. He was a fighter, but he had his own soft side. "Just don't want you guys gettin' worse." he mumbled.

Rose sighed and looked directly at Blink, "I can't get worse if I ain't sick."
Even if she was sick, or getting sick, she didn't want people caring for her, it made her feel guilty.. And she'd already been taken care of plenty after the bridge happenings.
