Blink's lips curled up into a soft grin. "See. There's the Hawk we all know and love." He reached out and ruffled her hair a bit. "Race go and get you a doctah, I take it?" His eyebrow rose a bit. He could take her yelling at him.

Rose nodded at Blink, "Tryin' ta anyway. I didn't have much money ta give 'im," she let out a sigh, "Hopefully someone'll be willin' ta come down."
She turned back towards Hawkeye, "Can I get ya somethin'?" Rose gave Hawkeye a sympathetic look, she'd hate to be cooped up like this.

"I'm sure they will." Blink managed a small smile. "I know it. We need our Hawk all bettah so she and Race can keep me entertained." He grinned and leaned back in his chair, arms crossed lightly.

To anyone watching, it would seem that Hawkeye's lips had formed into a perpetual scowl. At Blink's last comment, her eyes narrowed into a nasty glare, "What's that supposed to mean, bud?" Her I-hate-you-all moment was ruined for a minute by another cough. The second she recovered, she leaned back again, resuming her previous scowl and glare.

Rose smirked as she watched the two of them bicker, "I take that as a no?"
She smiled and took a deep breath, which caused a sudden jolt of pain. She grunted as she thought back to the incident on the bridge, assuming that's what had caused the discomfort.

Blink's hands went up. "Woah....Down goil. I didn't mean anything by it. Other den what I said, and you know its true." He leaned down. "Look, I'd spring ya outta here...but Race? Yeaaahhh...I don't feel like dealin with him."
Blink looked over at her, eyebrow raised. "You okay?"

Rose nodded as she let out a steady breath, "No big deal."
She wrapped her arm around her knee, pulling it in close. A chill was sent down her spine, causing her to shiver for a quick moment.

Hawkeye rolled her eyes at Blink, "Yeah, yeah," she turned her attention to the window opposite the group gathered around her bunk, muttering, "I could take him." Not that she ever would... Or was actually able to, but she placed a good amount of blame on Race for being the reason she was stuck in her bed.
She turned around when Rose responded to Blink. She scowled, "Told you you shouldn't hang around me. But no, listening was out of the question, wasn't it now?" She folded her arms, grumbling about how everyone listens to Racetrack and not to her.

"Oh, we listen to you." Blink told her with a slight grin. "Just not when you're sick, and therefore incapable of making correct decisions, or when you're in a foul mood like now. We just ignore you then."
He could give it right back to her, the attitude, and not lose sleep about it. He looked over at Rose and 'hmm' ed under his breath. He held out one hand and motioned her closer. "C'mhere."

Rose rolled her eyes at the two of them, "I ain't sick. It's probably from the beatin' I took earlier. You try gettin' your ass kicked and then breath normally!"
She shook her head, lifting her other leg up onto the bunk. Rose let her head rest on her knees, still watching the two of them.

"I'm probably just about as stubborn as you are," she shook her head, "It's winter, it's cold. When I start coughin' up like this one then I might give in to your stubbornness. And there's a mighty big might on that, mister."

Hawkeye glared at Blink, half wanting to hit him. But she smirked, probably looking like a pleased villain, when he turned to Rose. She was glad to have the attention focused on someone else now. Not to say that her mood was lightened, but it perked her up a bit.
She glared at the two of them at being referred to as, "that one." She rolled her eyes, "I'm sitting right here, you know?"

"So are we at an agreement then? None of this 'Rose is sick' nonsense?" Rose smirked at Blink and said jokingly, "And ya tie me ta a bed and I might just have ta kill ya."
She gave him a smile, her eyes widening. She turned her head to the side, fighting back a cough.
All the talk about coughing musta just caused me ta need ta cough, no big deal, she thought to herself as she swallowed the cough.
