"Thats a bit suprisin'. Does she know ya are tryin' ta find me foh her? Because da last time I talked to her she said she neveh wanted to see me again." He was just waiting for her to deny it, saying that it wasn't true.

Delaney furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. This was going to be a little tougher than she had anticipated.

"No she doesn't know...but that's why it's a surprise. I don't know much about what happened between you two. I just know what she told me." She sighed. "It seems she wants to see you again so if you would be so kind as to go see her so she can be happy again."

"Why not?" She was very confused. Maybe there was more to the story or just parts she failed to remember. She knew their boss didn't agree with it, but they didn't have to meet at the pub.

Flick brought his hand down his face, rubbing his eyes. "I'm sorry, ok," he looked up at the girl, "I know ya are just tryin' ta help, but she has ta fix dis, not me." Or maybe he should go talk to her, he didn't know. It was her choice to let him walk away and he'd thought about her enough. But she'd made him leave, he would have stayed, fought her bosses, but she hadn't trusted him. "She doesn't want me around and doesn't trust me," he sighed standing up. Walking over to the window he stood there, each hand on either side of the window frame and feet braced against the floor, looking out over the night.

Delaney looked down at the floor and then back at him. Her eyes cut a little, a habbit she had when trying to understand something. She shook her head. She could sense the boys frustration and could see where he was coming from. If it had been her in his place she would wait for the other to come to her too. She walked up behind him. She raised a hand to place on his shoulder, as a means of comfort, but pulled back at the last second.

"It may seem that way, but how can you be sure when you haven't seen her for so long?"

The girl was right, but he sure as hell didn't want to admit it. But it seemed he'd have to, "Maybe." He turned from the window to look down at Delaney. "Where is she?"
