Outside of the front of the Bronx Loding house there is the porch. Perfect for taking a break at any time.

((Okay I hate talking to myself in different posts so I'm going to put both Reid and Lexi in Lexi's post. I hope it isn't too confusing.))
Lexi slowed her pace as she saw Reid standing on the porch of the boys lodging house, she didn't see Perry but she was sure he was inside. Walking up to the porch she gave her brother a smile. "How was your day?"
Reid shrugged, "Eh, not bad. Picked Perry up a gift, where is he?"
Lexi's smile instantly faltered and she took a step towards Reid, "What do you mean where is he? He slept here last night and you were both gone by the time I got here this morning."
An alarmed look crossed Reid's face and he stood, grabbing his sister by the arms. "I figured he went to see you."
Lexi shoved her brother away from her, "I can't even trust you to keep him safe for eight hours while I sleep. What the hell is wrong with you? How could he just slip away? What kind of brother are you that you can't look after a seven year old?"
Reid took a step back from Lexi, his face showing no emotion. "Your one to talk, Lexi. He slipped away from you just as easily."
Lexi bristled and shook her head at him, "You are unbelievable." And then the tears started falling. Of course, she'd heard the rumors about the kids being snatched, everyone had but she hadn't thought anything of it. It hadn't affected their kids and she hadn't thought it would. "Where is he, Reid?" Collapsing to the ground, Lexi tried to control her emotions but simply couldn't. Thoughts of all the bad things her brother could be enduring were running through her head, one after another.
Reid sank down next to Lexi and wrapped his arms around her, trying to comfort his sister. "Maybe he just ran off to Brooklyn. You know he's been trying to meet their leader since we came here and he heard all the stories about him."
Lexi nodded, wiping her face clean, a look of determination coming to her eyes. "You're right. You have to be right." Standing up, she brushed off her skirt, "Let's go find him, now!"

Danny slowly staggered up the stairs, pausing a moment as he tried to remember why he was here. Shaking his head he attempted to clear it as he firmly grasped the railing. "Dodgah!" His own shout startled him and he cleared his throat, really not used to being so loud. The place was dead silent, but the fact that it was about 1:30 in the morning didn't occur to him. After all, that's generally when things were just getting started in Brooks.

Lucky was right on his tail and jumped when he shouted, "Bloody... Dano.." oh god what was he doing? She'd been tailing him all the way from Brooklyn to make sure he stayed out of jail and now? oh good grief.
The leader in question came down the stairs looking disheveled and annoyed, tailed by Lefty who he'd about knocked out of bed when he'd fallen off of his bunk. Grumbling he looked up at Danny and then raised brow, "What's a da bloody racket about mate, you 'ave any idea what time it is?!"

Lefty stumbled down the last steps, still half asleep and rubbing his side from where he landed when he was knocked out of bed. "What the hell?" Coming out onto the porch he raised a confused brow, glancing from the two Brooklynites to Dodger and back again. He merely repeated his earlier sentiments, completely confused by the situation. "What the hell?"

Danny moved toward The Bronx leader when he appeared, his slight stagger really not diminishing the fairly threatening presence of the Brooklyn boxer. "Hey!" It was the only word he managed, but it was sharp and made it clear his intentions were nothing but hostile. Lucky had told him Tate was now missing, while all this time he had thought she was here, being looked after by people he had almost considered friends. Dodger was in charge, he let her leave, hell, he probably kicked her out! His inebriated state made it easy to scramble, and sometimes create, facts.

Dodger rubbed his eyes and grunted, "what in the bloody 'ell are you doin' here so blurdy late, mate? An' drunk ta boot.." Dodger had no patience when he was tired but then again he didn't have patience being shouted at either. "State yer business, Brooklynite.."

Lefty instinctively stepped forward when the Brooklyn guy came toward them, glaring daggers at Dodger. He raised in eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest. Looking to the girl, clearly the more sober of the two, he shrugged, gesturing to Danny. "What's his deal?"

Lucky reached over to keep Danny steady and winced, "Tate's missin', Medda ain't seen her in 'hattan. She normally keeps an eye on her. She's no where to be found...." meaning she'd vanished like others.

"State yer business, Brooklynite.."
Danny crossed his arms, having to think a moment before responding. "You kicked her out?" It came out as a question, Lucky's hold on his arm seeming to calm him back into dull confusion.
"Tate's missin', Medda ain't seen her in 'hattan. She normally keeps an eye on her. She's no where to be found...."
He winced at her words, somehow hearing them again making him feel worse. Leaning back against the banister he steadied himself on a post, not sure what else to say and watching Dodger passively, his earlier hostility seeming to have sipped away.

Dodger swore, his accent was thicker the more irritated that he got, but he growled and watched and listened to Lucky and Danny. The man looked a site, he couldn't recall ever hearing of this Brooklynite being this loud, or this well-- not wise.
"I didn' kick 'er out, mate. She left on her own and was gone when I got to the lodgin house... one of the boys said he walked her most of the way, she couldna been more then two blocks from her apartment.." that was the truth and he was tired, man alive Tate too. And Perry. What was going on here?

Lefty stepped forward, not about to fear the Brooklyn drunk. Not on their turf.
"I walked her, far as I could," he paused, glancing away in thought. He always loved the bakery girl, and her free baked goods, and knowing it could be his fault she was taken didn't sit well. "She asked me to go, told me she was fine, I just assumed.." He rubbed the back of his neck, glancing at Danny. "Sorry mate."

Lucky sighed and wrapped an arm around Danny's waist. "Thanks Lefty, don't worry about it. But.. Dodge I think it's time for a meetin'. Leaders and their seconds, because--" she shook her head as her eyes narrowed as she shifted Danny's weight onto her. "There are a few dozen missin and I don't like it.."

Danny listened to both Dodger and Lefty with vague concentration, struggling to keep his mind focused. His anger was short lived, and as he attempted to shift his weight out of Lucky's grasp he tipped a bit, catching himself on the banister.
As if the entire conversation was over he raised a fairly limp hand in their direction as if to wave, and turned to make his way down the stairs. "Night fellas." He staggered a bit, skipping a few steps but catching himself before falling completely.

Lucky winced and waved at the boys, "Night Dodge, sorry for waking you boys up... I've gotta.. make sure he makes it back to Brooks.." she rushed after Danny and wrapped an arm around his waist to help him up. "Come on, big boy... lets get you back home to a bed alright?"
